  • An instructive and well-done video, thank you..

  • Sorry, this was meant to Mobius000001.

  • Отличная штуковина, у нас уже есть в наличии. Клиенты покупали и очень довольны - dalnomer.com.ua/ru/catalogue/Pirometry/Pirometr-BlackDecker-TLD100.html

  • Don't most virgins do it themselves?

  • great video

  • What a tool, i mean the gal who made this video. first of all its packaged the way it is to make sure its not damaged during shipping. second of all they made the product thinking that you would pnly purchase it after learning about it as to what it does and what it is used for. Its not makde for people who first buy a product and then try to figure out what it does. it doesnt make any sense. This is a crappy product from Black & decker. Ask me why and I will explain.

  • @Mobius000001

    Your comments made no sense.

First of all, you can see in the video that there's a lot of empty space in the box. The tool doesn't look like (and shouldn't be) that fragile, but if they wanted to protect it for shipping, they could surround it with Styrofoam instead of thin cardboard. It's a well known (and cheesy) marketing ploy, one that's incompatible with a green product, as she notes.

  • @mastpo

Allow me to shed some light on this.

First of all, styrofoam is expensive than cardboard which is why they used cardboard packing to keep the product reasonably price. Second of all, its not a green product, whats so 'green' about this is actually what the product does to become green (which is to be abel to eliminate heat loss by knowing where the heat loss is taking place), there is a difference. Got it?

Second, your argument that a user manual isn't needed would be applicable to all products. Why not? Are other manufacturers just stupid and wasting their money by providing us a manual? Her review is from a DIY virgin's point of view. It's perfectly fine to expect a manual.

Lastly, are you defending or blasting this product? Make up your mind.

I like her videos. Well made, professional quality, unlike many of the videos on youtube. Keep up the good work, Claire.

  • @mastpo

I never said that the user maul is not needed, you are putting words in my mouth. What I meant to say was that you cant complain about the user manual because what was provided was good enough info. to find out what the product is for.

Also, the girl in this video said that she has no clue what the product does then why would she even order that product to begin with. With no prior knowledge what would you have expected?

  • @Mobius000001

So, it comes with a pamphlet that tells me what it's meant for. Fine. With that out of the way, how do I operate it?

Do I need to get a thermography certification to use it? But then, it becomes too crapy for my level. LOL

This is targeted at inexperienced home owners. As such it should come with user instructions, dos and don'ts, tips for better readings, that kind of thing. Get it?

  • @mastpo

....I was bashing on the video and at the same time saying that it is a bad product. the girl seemed to be very impressed by it which shows how clueless she is about the IR technology.

And, BTW i am a certified thermographer, so I know what I am talking about.

  • Looks like a very helpful product.
