i like youre videos because you fish how everyone should...for fun not for sport....everybodys out there trying to win touraments and finding record bass but there are people like you who actually enjoy catching even small fish because its fun....great videos =)
@merganserhunter the fish can and most of the time will live on with a gut hook the fish's acids in the stomach combined with the water will quickly erode the hook of the skin around it will die and heal kind of like your finger nails and the next guy that catches him could just slide the hook out or if you have barbless hooks you can easily but carefully slide the hook out.
ok steve, do you use a wireless microphone or just a recorder..... and how do you add sound back to video if it is a recorder. I would like to start to make fishing videos starting this winter ice fishing, but i need more knowledge.... thanks in advance.

just as a tip uncle steve, if it takes you more than 30 seconds to take the hook out than just cut the line, its best for the fish, thats my motto.
