My point in the video was that ultimately people don't go to hell because Jesus died for their sins and they don't believe in Him, but because even if He never came they would still go to hell because of their sin.

Jesus called them HYPOCRITES for rejecting the Commandment of G-d for their own traditions (Mark 7:6-13)! Jesus insists his followers OBEY, BETTER (Matt. 5:20). It is not by knowing principles or teachings, it is by the grace of God that we overcome sin. We need to pray! If we pray more, we'll sin less, but if we don't pray, we'll sin more.

Now you'll run away from sin and if you fall into sin, the Holy Spirit will strongly convict you of it. You will not be perfect but you will most definatly note the changes in your life. But grace shouldn't be taken lightly. 'There is forgiveness with [Him] that [He] may be feared.' Sin is transgression of the law. No one who abides in him sins as a lifestyle. (1 John 2:3-7, 1 John 3:4-6, 1 John 3:7, 1 John 3:24, 1 John 5:3) Do the math.
What I meant is that the Pharisees tried to keep the list of commands as best they could. The problem though is how they tried to keep the commands. They tried to keep them with their own man made traditions, as we see with the Sabbath for example, and also, they tried to keep the law in a legalistic way. But most importantly, they ignored the principles behind the law, love.
We can see from Paul's writings that he was a Pharisee & that he, by his own admission, kept the law perfect. (Philippians 3:5-6) "a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, BLAMELESS."
Now obviously, he didn't keep it perfect! Yet he, as many other Pharisees kept it as best they could, trying to follow a list of do's and dont's, yet this is NOT how the law was to be kept, in a legalistic way.
Great video in general, but you walk a fine line between "not being legalistic" and not needing to keep God's commandment. You speak of sin, but what is sin? Sin is transgression of the Torah! Let it be known and understood: Keeping God's instructions is not legalism! The Pharisees (at large) did NOT keep the commandments as best as anyone could. They were "HYPOCRITES", forsaking the commandment of God for their own traditions. Careful that you do not fall into the same trap. What is sin? Repent

i like your videos. i just gave my life to christ and i love him. can you please help me understand one thing? jesus said if i think of sinful things and lust after then that it is sin. some christian said must be perfect and we can's sin at all. i don't want to sin anymore but once in a while my mind lust after my previous sin but i try to get rid of them. does it mean i am not saved? do i have to give my life to christ again? i believe i in him but now am confused because i am not perfect.

It is not by knowing principles or teachings, it is by the grace of God that we overcome sin. We need to pray! If we pray more, we'll sin less, but if we don't pray, we'll sin more.
Read Hebrews 4:14-16. It is through Christ "that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." - James 4:8.
In order to draw nearer to God, we need to forsake the world (1 John 2:15-16 & James 4:4), & carry our cross daily.

@saeguy22 Hi saeguy22, no, we are still sinners, even after being saved, but Jesus gave you a new heart, a new life and new desires. Now you'll run away from sin and if you fall into sin, the Holy Spirit will strongly convict you of it. You will not be perfect but you will most definatly note the changes in your life. Keep having a daily relationship with the true & living God on a daily basis, stay in His word (the Bible) and He'll guide you into all truth. Hope it helps. GOD BLESS YOU !

@saeguy22 Friend, we have to be careful w/ what others may say. Note that they are in the same boat you are, trying to live for Christ and his Love. NOT WANTING to Sin is the important thing. I am by no means telling you that you should go and sin but it is going to be a LIFE LONG battle not to sin. You must do everything in your might to walk the path of the righteous. I will admit I hate sin yet my flesh still longs to it. Pray for me as I will for you in this battle. AND TRUST the Bible Alone

@1nemind Great video keep it up, but i just wanted to address when u said that when people die they either go to hell or gods throne. i just wanted to state that no one but Yahshua has ascended to the heaven in which gods throne sits. as the bible says when we die we rest/sleep (a state of unconsciousness) until the end of the days and when the trumpet sounds the dead in christ shall rise first. and the kingdom of heaven that we will inherit is not where gods throne is but on earth

@1nemind Well, friend, you need to get clear. As you know, teachers are held to a very high standard. I agree with you that we all fail in our own merit for Salvation; bless the LORD for grace. But grace shouldn't be taken lightly. 'There is forgiveness with [Him] that [He] may be feared.' Grace is meant to bring us to complete submission to the will of the Father, even to the point of death. 'Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandment and the faith of Jesus.'

"The Pharisees of Jesus time kept the law as perfect as one could..." Where do you see this in Scripture? On the contrary, Jesus called them hypocrites for forsaking the commandment of God for their own tradition (Mark 7:9). Ergo, rejecting the commandment of God is not okay. What is sin? Sin is transgression of the law. No one who abides in him sins as a lifestyle. (1 John 2:3-7, 1 John 3:4-6, 1 John 3:7, 1 John 3:24, 1 John 5:3) Do the math.

What I meant is that the Pharisees tried to keep the list of commands as best they could. The problem though is how they tried to keep the commands. They tried to keep them with their own man made traditions, as we see with the Sabbath for example, and also, they tried to keep the law in a legalistic way. But most importantly, they ignored the principles behind the law, love.

We can see from Paul's writings that he was a Pharisee & that he, by his own admission, kept the law perfect. (Philippians 3:5-6) "a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, BLAMELESS."

Now obviously, he didn't keep it perfect! Yet he, as many other Pharisees kept it as best they could, trying to follow a list of do's and dont's, yet this is NOT how the law was to be kept, in a legalistic way.

Great video in general, but you walk a fine line between "not being legalistic" and not needing to keep God's commandment. You speak of sin, but what is sin? Sin is transgression of the Torah! Let it be known and understood: Keeping God's instructions is not legalism! The Pharisees (at large) did NOT keep the commandments as best as anyone could. They were "HYPOCRITES", forsaking the commandment of God for their own traditions. Careful that you do not fall into the same trap. What is sin? Repent

@iHymn But when you believe in Jesus, (im talking only of those who believe in Jesus in their hearts not in their minds) We keep the law perfectly because we have a new heart and spirit that keeps the law, but not our strength, no, Jesus and his spirit in us keep us perfectly keeping the law. Of your own accord you cannot. But when I walk after my flesh I walk away from the spirit and away from keeping the law. So I can safely saw in Jesus I am keeping the law perfectly. @1onetheone Are you remembering the seventh day (today that's called Friday night to Saturday night) to keep it holy? Do you light a fire on the seventh day? Travel outside of your camp? Prepare food? Work? Or how about the other feasts of the LORD? Do you keep them? Do you fast on the biblical fast day (Yom Kippur)? Don't be deceived, friend, he who practices unrighteousness is unrighteous. You do not perfectly keep the law just because you believe in Jesus, unless you yourself keep the law!

Furthermore, in Lev. 23 you can easily read for yourself that GOD said the following are "a statute forever"... @iHymn My friend if you still do these things and rituals and follow circumcision and eat only certain meats you are still under the old law and you know what happens to those who break the old law dont you, It says in the scriptures, "the soul of the sinner must die" None of those old ways can save your soul, only Jesus can save you and redeem you from this old law so you can go and sin no more and keep the law also. And the old law is the 10 commandments NOT the rituals and feasts.

@1onetheone Yes, again, if indeed we are in Christ, we WILL keep the law. But donèt be deceived into thinking you keep the law perfectly just because you believe Jesus Christ is God's Son. You either obey God's instructions or you don't. If you do, you have produced fruit that is evidence that you are indeed IN HIM. If you do not keep God`s instructions, on the other hand, and transgress the commandment of God (the Torah) as a lifestyle, then you have neither seen him nor known him, 1 John 3.

@iHymn Jesus said to go sin no more, And he also said "He who overcomes will recieve the crown of life" Yes if we dont keep the law perfectly in our actions and sin, then we have not overcome and wont have life, only we who defeat our nature to sin and FALL NOT to temptaiton shall have overcome to inherit eternal life, So that is why Jesus leads us to keep the law PERFECTLY. dont be decieved, if you transgress and sin then you need to repent and live holy again, and overcome.

@iHymn Sin is transgretion of Gods law. Gods law says not to commit adultery so we sin if we committ adultery. Jesus frees us from the condemnation we have from commiting that adultery in the past and gives us the power to not committe adultery.

Scientists use science to prove their theories, why cant we use the Bible to prove the Bible? Especially when the Bible has come up against all sorts of scrutiny, from logical, to scientific, to historical, and it has stood its ground! The Bible is NOT 1 mans idea, it is a collection of books written over 1400 years, by over 40 authors, in different places, from Israel, to Macedonia. The only way these authors have ever conspired is that they were all inspired by God's Spirit

You can't use the bible to prove the bible is real because it is a completely logical fail. Its circular reasoning in the highest regard and is completely ignorant. The bible has not stood up to any historical, scientific, and logical scrutiny. There is not even any proof of the bible outside of people who already believed in the faith.
