@ElPsychochillero The odd music choice is probably to prevent favoring one style of dance over the other. The music choice is fairly balanced in all battles though. There's usually one song that's great for popping, than a song for breaking and another for locking.

and plus it allows more creative space for the dancers. These battles are so great because of the diversity!

Plus its cool to see this type of competition with this type of music choice. It makes it different from BOTY, R-16, SDK, Juste debout etc. to each his own opinion I guess.
