I aint heard this for 30 odd years and it still sound as good now as it did then, brilliant stuff, pity you dont get stuff like this now, The story in your eyes, love it
Sometimes, I cant believe this is still happening to me. I hope my kids will hear this like I do. My oldest son has a wonderful girlfriend who is taking me to see them in April. Thanks Rebecca for the best present ever.
Bless you for uploading these albums. Treasures from another, hopeful time, when Love was spreading, smiling was easier, and my fellow man looked out across the sea of change and was not afraid to call this good.
The band took a smaller royalty from their albums so that they could have the expanded covers and original art (by the late Phil Travers). That should endear them to us fans even more...cause we all love those 70s album covers...
@technocrash09 Oops! Very sorry for the ERROR ON MY PART Thank you for correcting me, Phil Travers is STILL PRODUCING WONDERFUL ART; just looked at his website!
Through all that life can give to you Only true love will see you through And will stand beside you now in what you say And in the morning of my life And in the evening of my day I will try to understand in what you say Take me into your world Alone I can not go For I've been here so long You're leaving me behind Walk with me now Into your land of fairy tales And open up that book of pages in my mind And open up that book of ages in my mind
Procession, revolutionary music to Story in your Eyes, a sweet artful album of sensitive song in touch with life, reality in lots of luscious harmonic layers
This was the first album I ever bought. I was only eleven in the year 1972. I put the LP on the player and started to help my mother to fold the loundry. She didnt know what was going on when this song started. I told her this was my favorit band, she did´t liked that I was to this kind of music. This was not music for a little girl. But still now 30 years later this is my favorit album. And I just love the Moody Blues. Thanks for all the good times we have spent toogeter
Just like Sunday morning.....My sister would put a stack of albums on and start making the best breakfasts ever. Side two of EGBDF, with pop overs, eggs, and bacon....Bliss.

@elinorvonzahm Are you sure he is the "late" Phil Travers? His website seems to make it appear he is still quite alive (??)

I remember loving their album covers which for the late 60's and 70's were very
different as were their lyrics and music. Thanks!
