  • had to come back & say thanks for the recipe. My vegan friends were really appreciative that I thought of them. And to be honest, these tasted better than the regular gingerbread i made! Just a note that the soymilk amount didn't come out in the printable page--i had to come back down & double check :) Looking forward to more recipes.

  • This is probably a stupid question, but how is regular powdered sugar different from vegan powdered sugar?

  • Some sugar, particularly cane sugar, I think, is filtered through charred animal bones. That makes it not truly vegan. Somewhere I think I read that beet sugar does not have to go through this process.

    I love this guy. This was a great video and it's making me hungry!

  • @estaeheli i'm pretty sure it's just the non-organic white sugar that isn't vegan. i know that sucanat is vegan so that's what i usually use.
