ive just returned from beautiful samoa and was lucky enough to see this village a year and 3 months after the tsunami hit, there are still buildings devistated, but the village has been rebuilt, the samoans are truley amazing people, this wouldnt be possible without their stong belief in the lord...rhis was such a devistating natural disaster to samoa...
this is fault of own people for building houses so close to ocean level, they know this was going to happen, then better to build houses in the hills or behind ravines, dont u think? all coasts in the world are badly vulnerable, so its our own fault, even I believe in God, he has nothing to with this. I was in Apia during the Tsunami. I left Lalumanu just 15 hours before the tsunami hit this wonderful place and all the people. A friend of mine died and heaps of others were injured. I feel so sorry for all the families. They lost so many people. It's still unbelievable.
I was staying at Litia Sini, and was climbing up the cliff behind the yellow car when it hit me and my family, although we are from NZ we will never forget Samoa and the ones lost that day with us. Nice video, thanks.

I might have met you in 2003 one day I went in the truck with Rita and Romeo and we went for ice cream then we visited...was it her brother....so maybe I was at your house!!!! I had a black back pack....and then we visited her mother's house....I took lots of pictures of the family and the children in the house. Did the tsunami wave not reach where your houses are?
