  • 2 samoa was struck by tsunami....western and am.samoa....GOD BLESS OUR PPL.....my 2 beautiful island our paradise....shout out samoa from 919 north carolina...faavae le ATUA samoa....

  • Appropriate song and awesome footage. Our people are resilient and evidence of that is in how they are coping today. I've seen a couple of pics of my Uncle Ben Taufua in here so thanks.

  • To the haters: No one is placing "blame" on God. The notion - which most of you have missed/ignored - is that it is beyond anyone's control. Whether you believe in Nature (science) or Religion (God, Alah), it all relates to elements we cannot predict, change or circumvent. This is a tragic event. It takes a real heartless person to make an ugly comment like that, regardless of the reason. In any situation where lives are lost, a degree of respect is what any decent human being would show.

  • seriously some ppl needa just the shut the hell up and stop making judgements about what samoan ppl believe in etc. ppl are entitled to their own beliefs how they feel...this is a small island that had grieved the loss of their loved ones, just let it be no need to say other shit....much love to my beloved samoa

  • Yeah, yeah, we get it - because Samoans have the intellectual capacity of retards, and suck yankee dick like no one's business = a strong faith in "the lord". Leave Jesus alone, you mother fuckers, let him rest in peace. God this and god that, get on the blue bus!

  • :(:(:(

  • ive just returned from beautiful samoa and was lucky enough to see this village a year and 3 months after the tsunami hit, there are still buildings devistated, but the village has been rebuilt, the samoans are truley amazing people, this wouldnt be possible without their stong belief in the lord...rhis was such a devistating natural disaster to samoa...

  • this is fault of own people for building houses so close to ocean level, they know this was going to happen, then better to build houses in the hills or behind ravines, dont u think? all coasts in the world are badly vulnerable, so its our own fault, even I believe in God, he has nothing to with this. In Peru we have extreme earthquakes, its a natural event ! just build saver houses y saver places

  • @dmtharpua are you serious? Tsunami's, Earthquakes and any other natural diasasters occur randomly?

  • this is breaking my heart

  • OMG HOW RUDE OF PEOPLE TO SAY RUDE STAFF ABOUT GOD AND OTHERS!!!!!!ITS CALLED NATURAL DISASTER...GOD WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER FOR SAYING STUPID STUFF TO OTHERS ESPECIALLY HIM...SO...RUDE

  • we thank god for everything even for the mistakes we still love him and he still loves us god bless samoa, faafetai iesu

  • GURLPRETTY1......HOW RUDE....i lost my wife and 2 only children in the tsunami. How can you wright something so disrespectful. I think you all need to take a good look at yourselves before you judge others EVEN GOD. I buried the love of my life and my 2 children.......which makes your comment just look PATHETIC......but may god bless you and your family that you will go home to tonight.....

  • I was in Apia during the Tsunami. I left Lalumanu just 15 hours before the tsunami hit this wonderful place and all the people. A friend of mine died and heaps of others were injured. I feel so sorry for all the families. They lost so many people. It's still unbelievable.

  • god bless all aigaz off samoa..

godd bless da person aho made dizz video..

n thank lord daht samoa iz sdill going sdrong..

all samoanz send owt yhur heartz to all ov samoa..

  • Survivor Heroes vs Villains was filmed at this time

But not one was hurt thankfully.

  • I was staying at Litia Sini, and was climbing up the cliff behind the yellow car when it hit me and my family, although we are from NZ we will never forget Samoa and the ones lost that day with us. Nice video, thanks.

  • What a painful experience...it`s so hard to deal with the unexpected anyway God already prepared a way to be together forever and that brings warm in our broken hearts.

  • @gurlpretty1

Yeah Thank God for his kindness in drowning, crushing and tearing apart all these inocent peoples lives. Are you serious??

God can go fuck himself if he was responsible for this shit..

  • @187781jason

hey mate, yea its odd i know but samoans thank god for both the good and bad. How can anyone be responsible for such a freakish act of nature.

  • @187781jason Oh thts all u can say. Blame God cause of 1 act. Think of the whole humans mistakes. I mean people are killing themselves by taking drugs and drinking a lot, killing us by polluting our air with smoking and their fucking cars, though electric cars will solve the problem but I assure you none will buy it. And I assure you THESE people deserve that for all of their crimes. You should thank God for letting you live for all the crimes you've done not blame him for making justice in life

  • @187781jason life. One of those people could come and kill you in your bed. Only God knows. he's trying to protect us. And not mentioning humans crimes. I mean do you really blame god for killing those criminals that kill your examples in the world. I can't imagine how they have the hearts to kill their own families, friends, SPECIES. they are mad and you are too

  • @mirosallam.

The ramblings of another lost religious nut job, Go and tell someone who givs a shit.

  • @187781jason i fink u n acouple of people who blame God should really watch wot u say.He gave life n has tha will to take.who r u to blame the Creator of all fingz?deaz a time n season for evryfing n at dis particular time His calling was upon the victims of the samoan tsunami.ur not jus blaming another human being,ur blaming the creator who made u n gave u life.think before u speak nxtym n dont even comment if u dont hav anyfing encouraging to say...especially bout GOD.the Lord hav mercy onyou

  • @4given62

    In your Opinion!

You may believe in GOD and fear him. I fear no body and live in peace. I feel for the family's affected by this Disaster and other Disaters around the world. What I can't agree with is why God apparetley chose some of the most innocent humans in the world who believe in him Love, and honour him to die against all the evil humans that seem to get away with it? If God is real he has alot to awenser for.

I do not wish to cause offence but I am entitled to my opinion!

  • @187781jason well its true u r entitled to wot eva u wna say but nextym if its to do with God dn keep it to urself.it offends me coz yes i do believe n i know that we dont alwaes understand His ways but at the end of time evryfing will be revealed to us wetha we make it2heaven or depart4hell.it may seem unfair to us but who r we to say to Him who made us "why God''?for He Himself sed it 'my will be done. my only obejection is to y do u blame God?instead of blaming Him ask Him,may the Lord help u

  • @4given62

I don't blame God, How could I? I don't believe he exsists!! What I dont agree with is that people who believe in God still thank him over what happend. Now if people were to say that it was the work of the devil then I would agree that in their belief this must be the cause.

It's as sad as a dog being repeatedly beaten by it's owner but still happy to see his return.

  • @187781jason wot world wer u brought up in?blaming him ova n ova is like a dog returning to its vomit n ur da perfect example.take note u did blame God.IF U REALLY WANA KNOW Y PEOPLE STIL FANK HIM AFTER SUCH TRAGIC EVENTS,ITS BECOZ THEY KNOW DEA IN A BETA PLACE NOW N HAV HOPE 4THEMSELVES FOR LIFE AFTER DEATH.unfortunately for people lyk u my frend, dea is no hope.wish u well.

  • aww this was very beautiful.i just got back frm Samoa in Aug.we went to Lalomanu a couple of times.very lovely village met some peeps there too.you knw a guy name lafolafo?i'm from Ulutogia!weo thanks for tha post.God Bless You & Yur Family! Take Care!

  • I am so SAD. Please did Rita and Romeo of Lalomanu survive? They had beach fales.

  • I will check the list. Lots of those who owned fales did not make it. will check for you.

  • i have checked the list of the 135 dead published on the samoa observer. There is no rita or Romeo there. That is good news but i do not know if they are missing. god bless. xo

  • Thank you so much or checking the list for Rita and Romeo. Is the post office near Lalomanu still there? I am wondering if it is possible to mail things there.

  • Talofa Rita's my sister inlaw, her and her family have survive along with all thier animal's. My name is Lina Falaniko Kalolo my husbane name is Ipolito (Fune) Kalolo. We are very happy that they have survive. Thank you for your concern.

  • great news Lina! :) God bless you and Samoa. xo

  • I might have met you in 2003 one day I went in the truck with Rita and Romeo and we went for ice cream then we visited...was it her brother....so maybe I was at your house!!!! I had a black back pack....and then we visited her mother's house....I took lots of pictures of the family and the children in the house. Did the tsunami wave not reach where your houses are?

  • Talofa (Hello) eyeguyer How do you check to see how many have died and who died and which village they are from.

It's just that some of my husband's family have died in the tsunami and some of them, well we're not sure if they survive or not. We're not getting much information from some of his other family. I'd be greatful. Thank you.

  • a list was released by the samoa observer of the confirmed dead. If you just wait a bit I will put the link on here.....2 mins.x

  • check your messages x

  • how near is 'near'? because the place is decimated! all the fales, including the main houses, the really strongly built ones. are all gone!

  • May God bless and keep the people of Samoa.

  • Thank you for this. I'm from Lalomanu and i want to send my love to my family i lost and to our village. Stay strong and keep your faith in God.
