Consent only has to be given if what is being filmed is used for commercial purposes, not a personal recording of an event that involves yourself, directly. You can record anyone in public without consent, as long as they are on public property. Learn the Constitution and the Bill of Rights before you spout nonsense. You probably have no idea about either part of history.

I love the people who state police officers are public servants thus are unable to have any say in what their image or likeness or voice is used for. The fact of the matter is you can film them but there can not be audio. Also, if you slander a Police Officer you yourself can be charged in civil court with defamation. Thanks, that is all.
