  • Lucas wanted to be like Link, but he was hit by bombs instead.

  • Wow

  • The overworld music is played at tal tal heights and the other music is played at tal tal mountain range

  • i also never noticed the setting of the stage and the song! good observation! if you look the 3d ship and the 2d 1 are practically the same! give or take a difference for a better fighting arena, but i don't think the similarity in design was an accident.

  • wow, more thorough than i expected, good job! i'm glad some1 pointed this out in detail for those who may not know the origins of the tracks or even that its two tracks spliced into one.

  • I don't know why is the music called "Tal Tal Heights", if the second piece of the track sounded in Tal Tal Mountain Range in the original game.

  • Did anyone notice that the part of the video at 4:27 was perfectly timed to the music?

  • thank you for shedding light upon a song that gets little to no publicity

  • rickroll is releated to this video...WHAT'S GOIN ON WITH YOUTUBE!?

  • Kinda surprised that you didn't mention that the overworld music is also used in the Oracle games. But maybe you did--at this writing, I'm only at 2:30.

  • Link's Awakening needs more bomb arrows, those were always fun

  • @Crazyflake1 Actually, there are such things, if you equipped bombs as [A] and arrows as [B] (or vice versa) and pressed them simultaneously.... Bomb arrows!

  • This makes me really wonder if arrengement supervisors really knew what kind of stages they were creating music for. I mean, it's not bad at all... but electronic music in a pirate ship... seriously

  • You should do some F-Zero vids.

  • i also see that there are islands in the background. could this be a possible reference to that "kohlint" island?

  • Yeah, but isn't the stage itself from Wind Waker? That dragon ship thing (the name escapes me) kind of gives it away.

  • @TMorrowAZ King of Red Lions?

  • *Sniff* I'll never forget this game. (Link's awakening, Original and DX)

  • @marklmon DX is short for Deluxe, right?

  • @SSBSfanboy. I think so.

  • for some reason Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" is in related videos.

then I realized a certain major plot twist in Link's Awakening which makes it the GREATEST PUN EVER.

  • @kkslider555 Oh I see what they did there.

  • @kkslider555 You sir,win!!

  • @kkslider555 That's one of the best things I've ever seen XD

  • @kkslider555 ^^

  • Wow, Nostaliga :D This tune is so awesome, It still stands out today!

  • Aw, why not the Game Boy Color version?

  • Because that's a remake. CCC uses the ORIGINAL source of things, not remakes of it.

  • @metaXzero

but Link's Awakening DX is the same in every element CCD mentions except its in color, so it looks cooler.

So he should have used it.

  • No it's not. They changed a bunch of stuff and added some things. It's a remake, not a rerelease.

If he used Zelda DX, it wouldn't be the original game where Ta Tal Heights originated. CCD always goes for where it first appeared, not a remakeof it. Otherwise, he might as well not reference Kirby's Adventure and just go with Nightmare in Dreamland, or not reference NES Metroid in favor of Metroid Zero Mission.

    Cooler is opinion

  • Nice. Good memories. :)

  • wtf, a gordo in the begining lol

  • @PokeCenter The game calls it a sea urchin. You're not fooling us, Nintendo!

  • @PokeCenter Well, Link's Adventure takes many characters from other Nintendo series in it, like a Chain Chomp, Goomba's en Piranha Plants from Mario, even Wart from SMB2 and during a sidequest you can see a pic of Peach in it, and in one of the last dungeons a enemy that heavily resembles Kirby in looks and sucking abillity appears. So it's no wonder you recognize that in it.

  • Memories!

    Thanks CCD, great job!

  • I prefer the music history videos, myself, but to each his own.

  • :O this is my favorite zelda and the first game I remember playing! aww man I love this music

  • dude its also in the oracle {my fav games} games

  • Comment removed

  • Link's Awakening has a really nice scenery! I should get around playing that game one of these days.

  • I can't wait till you do the hindenbow stage, i want to know what crack-head invented that thing :P it really burns my ears

  • do marx DO MARX FROM KIRBY SUPER STAR OR KIRBY SUPER STAR ULTRA

  • @just4fun1279 And butter building!

  • lols i missed this game in my phone

  • @theqman24 He's not trying to entertain as much as inform. He had samus and lucas on each side of the stage to show the whole stage.

  • wheres the owl. I thought he showed up after you get your sword.

  • @floooooooooooooooood

he appears when he gets colse to it

  • all your songs with music going on would be better if we saw a fight ON the stage

  • @theqman24 I think he reuses these clips to save on how much he has to record, don't quote me on this, but he may be using this clip again when he does a video to explain the stage

  • @cody2989 K I get it but sometimes I find the music history videos boring

  • There is something about Link's Awakening that whenever I play it or see someone playing it gives me that really calm and cheery feeling.

    ...

    I blame Mabe Village.

  • yay good job!
