I like the idea of safety with the rake, but probably still WAY to close to the house, probably too much oil and you shouldn't try to fry a turkey much over 15 lbs. for that size pot. Safety aside, have you considered the costs? Check our series on that note and leave it to the pros!
You have too much oil in the pot! Our instructions said to place oil and turkey in pot cold to confirm the oil was at a safe level. Then when you add turkey to the hot oil there are no surprises.

OMG!! Way to much oil!! Also at the end of the video it looks like he was going to reach for the hook. Lucky someone didn't get hurt.
