I want to say this one. I beat this one in under 2 weeks. However when you beat this game you get the option to play as Trevor Belmont. You'll get this code called @TREVOR. You also get a code called @CRAZY. The enemies are like 10 times as strong, only a couple hits could kill you. So it could be a little more challenging.
agree with you dude, this game's so cool, i'm play on crazy mode.... and as it's say... it's just CRAZY, the enemies are really hard ._.". nice job man.
i bought both PS2 Castlevanias and really tried but could never get into them. too much mindless button mashing. it never feels like progress is being made. all the candles/torches are out of the way. enemies take way too many hits. i don't see much adventure aspects to these games. there's no secret passageways, etc. the levels all feel the same. the game feels like it's on rails. too much action. no puzzles. no vertical gameplay whatsoever. barely any platforming. prove me wrong.
What exactly are you referring to when you say "the first one"? Lament of Innocence?
Castlevania is most definitely my favorite game series of all time. :]
I've got this title for the Xbox, and I've thoroughly enjoyed all the GBA, DS, SNES and NES titles. However I've never had a PSX or PS2 so there are a few titles I haven't had the chance to enjoy.
I'd love to be able to play LoI and SOTN.
Also I don't know what you mean by scanning enemies, they're added to the index automatically. :\
Looks cool, Luke. I actually just picked this game up about a week ago, I haven't started it yet, but it'll be my first 3D Castlevania, I just recently finished up Order of Ecclesia for the DS and that was quite good, so now I'm looking forward to trying some of the other games in the series that I've looked out on. Glad to hear you liked this one, I'll have to find your video on the first PS2 game so I can see if I should pick that one up as well.
I really didnt like this game, at all. But to be fair to the game, I think my hatred is based on the silly sidequest. You know, collect all the chairs to get the super-chair? Thats the best they could do? Really? But other than that.. The guy is a bit to slow, but. I guess its a decent game. But the chair-thing, man, I'll never forget that! ^^
what a stupid video - don't you have money for a right camera - do you have to use a useless mobile to make a film?

Oh, and, I don't think you should have started this video right from the beginning of the game.
Viewers would have liked to see the ID system and some of the different ID's, you should have shown the steal ability, some weapon creation, etc.
The video does not at all encapsulate how amazing the game is in it's entirety.

That is the Japanese version, right? Why else would it be almost entirely in English other than it being the US version?
