When Paulette Carlson was the lead singer these guys rocked the radio.. I miss the sound.. as a country music DJ in the 80's I miss the originality..

This is what I call country music! I heard it the 1st time 1979/80 on my way from Miami to Mobile with a '70 Plymouth Barracuda. There was another song, sung by a woman, which had "I can see Texas in my rear view mirror" as part of the lyrics, I mean to remember (not the Lubbock thing). Anyway those times were grand!

Not my genre, but I remember dabbling into country in the late 80's and this band was awesome, kinda like Little Big Town these days.

@oldtexasmusic: I heard they reunited, but not all of the original members of the band were there, nor their original production team. I was fortunate to see them in the early 1990s opening for Ricky Skaggs, and they were great - really a fabulous act.

Hi,I like that,new to me,they have a new Country sound,good for dancing I would think,but not like the new sound that poses as Country today,but they still sound like real Country because they have old roots in their music as they have been around for a while.If you can understand what I mean,then you are more clever than I am,LOL.

@pastore0506 Formed in 1986 and still going. Paulette Carlson is the first vocalist they had and is on this song. After she left, they have another one named Nikki Nelson.
