@Northweeeezie I'm no pro on Jailbreaking, but as I understand you wont lose your apps unless you restore your device (but as far as I know you can sync your device with iTunes since your last update and have them all put back on). I've heard that the worst that can happen is your device can be 'bricked' where it just stops working completely but this is extremely rare. Let me once again clarify that I'm only going off what I've read so I may be wrong. Hope that helps :)

technically....if you tamper with the device then it will...but being as this is firmware

and a simple restore can set the firmware back to factory settings...no..as long as they dont know you jailbroke your ipod. (sending it for repairs with the CFW) you will be fine.

NO. Most people say that it voids your warranty, but if you break your iphone, you can just run a system restore, which deletes all tickets of cydia, etc., making you iphone like it was just taken out of the package.

You can try to unlock your phone and try an AT&T SIM card without a data plan. Not sure if it will work, we've heard conflicting stories. Just get a friend who has a normal AT&T subscription without the data plan. Follow our tutorial to unlock your iPhone and try it out. Best of luck! =)

great video..but alot of people dont understand that for one.. yes ur iphone will freeze if u get to happy and download a crap load of themes....or anything for that matter.. down load a 1 or 2 things a day...and it keeps ur phone from overloading on (new items)....if u find something u like capture it (take a picture) and then down load after 24 hrs... i had the some problem the first time i did it..couldnt answer phone calls couldnt end them etc....take your time on it and it will work fine...

Ok, this guide will show you how to fix that:

1. When you see that apple logo, connect the cable and run iTunes. Try to turn it

off (Press 2 buttons at the same time until the phone completely off).

no it doesnt take away anything. BUT make sure you backup to itunes BEFORE you jailbreak. if anything goes wrong, you can always go back. this just happened to me. my phone messed up, and i restored and rejailbroke and now its fine.

Yup just make sure you update to 2.2 (you can enjoy Streetview now) then download quickpwn 2.2 and jailbreak it. Once that is done you can download backgrounder from cydia and you can get the AIM app during any step of the process
