Gumi is bit hard to control and made good songs with her voice, just like Meiko. But we have great vomposer who write really good songs, like 40m-P

I check Nico Sound every now and then and I'm seeing quite a few new pieces of work coming from composers who used Gumi, and I'm pretty sure Gumi is the first Vocaloid that isn't produced by Crypton Media that is getting a voice extend (Append), so she must be pretty popular. So its not that she isn't, its just that Miku is the face of Vocaloid and is used more often.
