  • Twist needed steroids to even SNIFF Kocur, Probert, and others' jockstraps.

  • probert was pretty much done,as a fighter, after his years in detroit.even a little before,he just wasnt the same.the partying and litigation, finally caught up with him.he could still fight but not like before.

  • Even though Probert was a n aging fighter here with Chicago, fighting a younger roided up twist in his prime, Probert did alright, I would say Probert bested twist in this one, Probert with the win.

  • @hockeystruth you just said the same shit 2 weeks before shut the fuck probert nuthugger. twist beat him again!

  • @hockeystruth This gets me thinking are you Proberts homer hmm?? sorry brother you are almost always right, my fan here.

Probert is the best of all the time but you shouldnt love him too much lol because its clear who landed heavier shots here, it was Twist(wjho started out with strong way as he landed 3-4 hard haymakers and after that they holds on as they had a good grip of each other until Probie landed a soft right but added few better shots next but missed last one or two and he ATE that s

  • @hockeystruth he ATe that solid right by Twist before they went to the ice.

Twist with strong edge/NARROW WIN in decent scrap.

    Hands down.

  • I give probert the win, he landed 7 to twist's 2 and when they went to the ice Probert landed on top. Probert was on a decline with Chicago, yet he still beat twist here.

  • loved watching both guys. probert in the detroit days was the man and my fave. but he was not the same after rotator cuff surgery. not enough old school guys in the league like this today. r.i.p. probert an boogie man most recent.

  • wtf are u all saying its not a draw.... fucking probert was the only one to land at least one punch i didnt even see twist move his arms. Because he new if he did he would get his as kicked anyway so he covered his face behind his shoulders

  • im glad twist was on the blues for a while, hes my favorite brawler and the blues are my team

  • Draw or edge Twist, this is round 3.

  • probert is just such a hard person to fight i mean whos better probert will not go down

  • stupid drug addict probert

  • @shanis81 and you think twist wasnt a juicepig cokehead as well

  • PRobert landed more punches. I gove Bob the decision.

  • Blow vs roids match!

  • all the probert twist fights were pretty weak from both sides i thought

  • Twist just clutches away at an aging Probert, trying to avoid the right hand, then laughs at him when they break it up. Tough guy, huh? Not surprising that he clutched away at McFarlane for money that didn't belong to him.

  • probert's a tank

if this was the start of his career

    twist would have been finished

  • Probert was such a tank because he was fueled on coke before every game. He didn't feel pain because he was jacked up. White powder of courage or stupidity....Probert could have made a career out of being a bouncer at a titty bar. Occasional fight, good drugs that is all he needed in life....LMAO

  • Nevermind Dickfor200Alex. He's a 46 year old troll living in his mom's basement going around on all the Probie vids badmouthing what he can't be. I already schooled him on the first video. Of course there was no reply. This is actually round 3 between these two guys. So far the record for Probie is 1-0-2 with the two ties being Twist hanging on for dear life.

  • that alex kids a dumb fuckin good for nothing cunt who should shut his fuckin mouth when he needs to

  • Fuck tards....read the stats or can't you figure out how to find them? Twist fought 5 career fights vs Bobby and won 3 lost 1 and had 1 draw. I didn't make it up...it is on the Drop your gloves site and hockeyfights site. IDIOTS

  • bosoxnation1972=swordsfor200alex...........lol

  • @ScaleneBlood PROBERT's a coffin now. Did in by the coke that ruined his heart muscles and caused him to have a heart attack at 45 yrs old. That is what happens when you ramp up your heart rate over and over again for years and years while on coke. His heart beat enough times for a 75 yr old because of the drug use and it finally quit on him.

  • @ScaleneBlood Bob couldn't win this one because he couldn't get his jersey off to gain the upper hand. he was tough,,, but he got a lot tougher without the jersey.....

  • @ScaleneBlood no way bro never count twist out...

  • NARROW WIN T.Twist landing more and bigger.

  • @MrJuha82 when and where?

  • With respect, I'd call this one a draw. No one landed anything serious. It went to the ice and got broken up

  • Not much of a fight but I'd say that one goes to Probert.

  • are you fucking retarded??? Probert held on to Twist like he was his mummy...threw a couple of feeble punches...Twist gets loose and lands a bomb and Probert falls to the ice like the sack of shit he was at that point in his career. And all that dead weight falling to the ice pulled Twist down with it.

  • In the middle protion of the fight Twist was running. You people also have to realize, twist caught probert at the end of his career. A young Probert would have killed Twist.

  • @Bizzangle probie is old at this point but a draw is fair, in twisters prime, he was hiding from kocur, fought one time, and never landed a punch, and never would fight him again, thats why he was NEVER the true champ, he didnt beat the champ, he had plenty of chances to fight kocur, so, as ranking goes, no mas! btw, twist was a roid freak and you guys need to stop suckin the ball sweat outa his shorts.

  • Kocur was NEVER the champ. He got TKO'ed by Coxe, McGill and Raglan and they are ALL marginal fighters. Twist on roids would demolish Kocur at ANY time in his career. Of course it is the roids that give him the edge but come on, get real buddy. Don't be a fucking moron. I am not condoning the use of steroids I am just saying that Twist was an unbeatable beast when he juiced up to 260 pounds.

  • Twist was also very good fighter early of his career too. or??

  • skippy.............lol

  • Dipshit - TWIST from 94-98 lost 1 fight and won 42. He also had 12 draws during that span. Kocur was never champ because he lost too many fights. Most of Twists losses were early in his career while with Quebec. For that 4-5 years period Twist was reigning HW Champ.

  • @Swordsfor200Alex i agree you, i got Twist winning the Heavyweight Title twice, 1995-1996 and 1996-1997.

He was also great 1994-1995 and 1997-1998 and 1998-1999

also he was very good earlier in his career as i have ranked him about 3-4x to Top10 list from 1989 where hew started his career with Quebec's jersey.

  • @Swordsfor200Alex twist is top10 no doubt and the first one toughest motherfucker is! dave brown of course

  • no real winner, they kind of both fell at the end after Twist hit Probert.

  • Twist nailed him and THAT is why Probert went down...he knew he was outmatched in this fight

  • Probert owns Twist every time...

  • Dipshit... Twist beat Probert here, and in the third fight! Heck, Probert wouldn't fight Twist after that, that is a fact. He even threw Twist a cheapshot elbow because he couldn't beat him in a fight!

  • that was the stupidest thing ive ever seen

  • Probert was holding on for dear life LOL...

  • Probert is the best all time. And you blues fans obviously dont know shit about your own team. Bob Gassoff was the toughest blue ever, not tony twist...

  • dude whatever tony twist was and will allways be nhl's best fighter he won that one

  • No, Joey Kocur, he wrecked Twist, don't kid yourself.

  • Joey Kocur beat the shit out of Twist anyways, despite the steroid advantage.

It's funny watching delusional Blues fans trying to convince themselves that Twist was the best fighter. Probert and Kocur were both better fighters hands down, Probert had his older age as a disadvantage though.

  • agreed...and no one ever seems to mention guys like dave richter (who did a number on kocur and a few other big names) and larry playfair when talking about some of the most feared and toughest guys ever...twist was a joke until he cheated

  • Don't forget Twist backed down from Kocur in the late 90's when Twist was trying to go after Draper. Twist was always a punk and still is. He never belonged in the NHL.

  • @1080Snowboard1080 hey tony twist was a hands down great fight possibly one of the best ever.. of course u will lose some fights.. everyone will eventually but saying blues fans are delusional isnt the best way to say twist isnt the best fighter.,.

  • @1080Snowboard1080

you are a delusional moron. Probert and twist fought 4 times in the nhl and twist won all of them with only one being questionable...as a draw! Kocur and twist fought once and it wasn't much of a fight. Twist owned guys, because he spent his time working out and watching fight tapes while most other enforcers were trying to score goals and work on other things.

  • @1080Snowboard1080 the first thing that comes to mind when people talk about twist was his fighting

  • yeah, no doubt about it; Probert-easily.

  • Decision: Probert

  • are you stupid

  • No, I'm aljanadcob. Are you blind?

  • Junkyturd do you live in a cave or something?Almost all of the tough guys were on the juice from the mid 80's till the mid 90's.I cannot believe you are that naive!!

  • A lot of enforcers did 'roids,including Twist,still,he was a tough dude

  • Where is this roids thing coming from? You cant play sports if you do roids! they had something called drug testing and they still do

  • Twist got the better of Probert during their rivalry.

  • Probert at the tail end of his career...Twist at the prime of his with obvious performance enhancement. You can wipe Tony from the books...done. Buh bye. You can have a few cups of coffee...pop a sudafed or two...hell, do a few lines...they don't make you bigger, stronger, faster, etc. Case closed.

  • wooo..slow down there on twist. Probert was a speed freak 2!! Fact..case closed

  • sloy..you are in love with twist...obviously just having sex with his poster is not enough for you...

  • Twist was a good fighter early in his career but then he became a juice box and beat everyone.

and people blame Probert for doing coke...

  • Balls to stand up to twist??? Bob Probert worked his ass for years!!! Twist was a fucking roid freak.

  • thats all true what you said man.

  • ya wat eva

  • twist was pretty much kept around to protect brett hull and al macinnis. He did a damn fine job too.

  • BoB probert had a 400 pm 63 point season

twist tough as he is is a fucking bum

  • Twist put on 40 pounds of muscle. I agree he was definately taking steroids! Probert was just a cockhead. Cocaine isn't a performancing drug! lol

  • Twist missed him and they both fell down.

  • It take balls to stand up to probert he just doesn't get tired but twist isn't human

  • IT TAKES BALLS TO STAND UP TO TWIST

  • and your balls are on his chin

  • Yes, and Twist had what was known as ball-envy.His had shrunken up to his abdominal cavity.

  • Man, do I miss those ol' school games in the arena watching twist work opponents over...

  • Twist has to be just about the best fighter in NHL, possibly the best of all time???

  • steroids my boy

twist had surgery for a torn bicep

that's an injury that only happens if you use steroids

  • Very good point. The steroids weaken your tendons and ligaments, therefore, the person becomes more suseptable to injuries otherwise not common. Lets face facts though, the man could throw some serious fists...lol.

  • i thought it was a motorcycle accident but he still a roid boy

  • Haha, true. Didn't score an NHL goal until like his 4th season or something.

  • As Bill Clement once said "Twist throws cinder blocks". This guy made a living busting the faces of those who can take a punch alot better than most of us. I notice you have the name of a RATT song as your sn. Nice going, fag.

  • Lol. Oh, he had hands like cinderblocks alright...especially when it came to stickhandling. lol. I've seen better puckhandling skills on a moose. However, he was one hell of a fighter though. He couldn't play the game worth of shit, be he could throw punches like no one else.

  • Twist was hired to do one thing and one thing only. Beat people up.

  • Yep, and after he started taking steroids, he was a world beater.

  • where did u ever hear of him doing steroids?

  • It's been reported for years.I'm not a personal friend of Twist's as you are, so I can only go by with what I've heard. There was a marked difference of the Twist early in his career and the one pre-motor cycle accident.

  • Well I would hope so. He started his career as a Pro when he was 21 years old in 1989. He had the motorcycle accident in 1999 when he was 31. I don't know about your body, but the average persons body changes a hell of a lot in 10 years. :) If he did steroids, which he didn't, he should ask for a refund because he doesn't have a steroid users physique and he never did. He's a natural big boy and still is everytime I drop in to see him at his bar in St. Louis.

  • "it's been reported for years" what??? No it hasn't. People have just said that because he's fucking strong and beats the shit out of people. There is no proof or evidence backing it up. He wasn't someone who was known to go on roid rage temper tantrums either. (meaning, he's known as a total sweety off the ice).

  • The reason why it hasn't been reported is because the NHL had no steroid policy when Twist played. Back then you could shoot yourself up with every kind of steroid and growth horomone you could imagine, and no one would dicipline you. Lets face it, when Twist was 26, he weighed 210. When he retired at 31, he was 265 (or so he said.) An extra 55lbs of muscle doesn't come about naturally. He either did roids or went through puberty twice.

  • twist a pussy? He is holding is own against in nhl ledgend fighter?

  • couldn't have said it better

  • can't you just picture the guy calling twist a pussy, some 19 year old pasty skinny kid listening to alexisfire, whos neevr played a sport in his life?

    twist was an awesome fighter

  • Couldn't you just imagine a world in which Twist didn't take the needle? Oh yeah, that's right, his name was Brian Currna...or Jim Cummins....or Kevin McClelland

  • ur not that bright. I've known the man for years. A man who juices doesn't have the body of tony's.

  • Don't like to brag, but yeah, I am kind of bright. I'm not alone in that opinion (regarding Twist's steroid usage), and so I can't possibly, even with your personal knowledge, take your post seriously. Give me another thumbs down, ok?

  • He'd kick the fuck out of you..

  • Twist!!!! what a pussy!!!!
