I was taught that "give me", was pronounced "edeely", with an "l" sound and not a "n" sound. Is this a regional variation within Egypt?

I was taught that "I don't know" was slightly different: "ma arafs". Another variation?

the word " ma arafsh" i think it ends with "sh" not "s"

you can use either toilet or "hammam", in my country "Saudi" we use another word " dawrat al meah" its more formal.....

it's simply egyptian dialect. This is how we speak in Cairo or Alexandria but it drastically changes depending how far you go in Upper Egypt. But those examples are not the only ways we use and we cannot call this arabic. Hence we call our language colloquial.
