wow.... i remember this scene... running around in town with very minescule protection....................­. unless you beat the game and get the fifth ending and unlock the laser pistol.... is is 1-3 hit kills on everything except bosses. the only boss it does not work on so well is the final..... but she is extremly easy to kill with the knife, even on the hardest difficulty

i'm a HUGE silent hill freak i replay all the oldies all the time

but the problem with this one is that its gotten to action oriented it doesn't focus on the psychological survival horror that it was intended on by Akira Yamaoka himself...

but i'm still gonna buy it though...cause i'm a sucker for horror games....thats just my personal feeling on the subject i would like to add that the American versions of Silent Hill always relate to Silent Hill 2... =(

I wonder if this game will actually sell well. A better question would be, "Will I like this game?" One thing that I am certainly happy about this game is the psychological roots it has(something Resident Evil NEVER had), which is why Silent Hill 2 mesmerized me more than the others. I never even heard of psychological horror until I first played Silent Hill 2(those were good times, in a scary way). So that is one big reason why I am looking forward to this.

I was skeptical about this game when I first heard that it was being shifted over to an American company, when I first heard interviews with the creators they sounded more like a bunch of hot-shots. I'm seeing improvement since the last video, but I'm still skeptical about certain things, I hope like hell they remove the stupid visual inspirations from the movie (the transition from reality to the otherworld) like they didn't in origins.

the movie was so bad. i hope the free roam camera works though, the preset camera angles from before were good to create some visual style and tension but it was troublesome at times.
