Ash-Shaykh Shihâbuddîn Farfûr is the son of a great saintly scholar, Muhaddith ash-Shâm ash-Shaykh Sâlih al-Farfûr (rahmatullâhi `alayh), Jâmi` al-Fath. He is a teacher of ash-Shaykh Nuh Ha Mim Keller and many other scholars. He is generally considered to be among the highest authorities in the Arabic language in Syria. Currently, he has left Syria to teach at The Minhaj University after hearing and almost "falling in love" with the lessons of Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
