i do have to say after i watched this movie it was funny to see how much they loathed eachother & i they will most likely still become the bffs we know them to be but i think the whole romulin thing messed it up cause kirk had to force spock out of captainsy which may weaken their dependence on eachother..& sure spock voluntarily asked to be first officer but i think there will always be tension there

...sorry this is so long but has anyone else thought of that?

Like most friendships there will be complications. I can't say much cause I didn't watch the show, but maybe...and this is an IF, but maybe if it's explained later why Kirk forced Spock out of being Captain maybe then he'd understand...but like you I sense they may have difficulties with each other, if they hated each other the first time, who's to say that hate is gone yet? Lol, but like I said, haven't seen the show so I won't say much or...whatever lol

@oXtrueloveXo I honestly don't think its true....because in TOS how many times did Spock ask about taking over whenever Kirk was out of it? I don't think it will hurt their relationship in the slightest.

@oXtrueloveXo Well, Spock is a Science officer first and foremost, I'm not sure he's really gunning for a captaincy. And while he may be a bit miffed at the way Kirk barged past him, I think he realizes that Kirk has a certain "something" - an intuitive brilliance, a natural gift for tactics (though perhaps not strategy) and the passion to leap into the fray that is sometimes needed in impossible situations - that makes him uniquely suited for command. And in need of a stabilizing First officer.

To test a man, give him absoulate power. Spock need know what makes a good captain, and what does not. Ther's no logic in throwing your power about, and grace under pressure and mercy, only comes under expereince. Spock as a lot to learn.

OK, first, that was awesome. I loved the effects and editing. :-) Nice job. Second, the lyrics are almost perfect. (I especially dig where it's like 'Try to be something experimental' cause, well, he is and it fits so well.) I am quite jealous that I don't have footage and I didn't have the idea cause I love this movie and this song. Anyway, fave and sub. 5/5 and a very nice job.
