Find fairy tail to be pretty meh, the characters really lack any depth, the story and setting is generic, humor is pretty bland since the characters have no depth to them (like bleach humor once characters stopped their character development after the rescue arc, reaction humor only works if you really feel attuned to their character)
It is also pretty vanilla, not as vanilla as early toriko episodes, but my gut feeling tells me it will be more mature starting from this arc.
tbh Fairytail dont have that much fan service O.o, I watched it up to the latest episode and most i've seen is when they are on the island during the current arc and the girls are wearing swimsuits xD
i think fairy tail can match up to those 3 personally i already love it more than bleach and naruto..actually got bored of naruto. Bleach; starting to lose interest but one piece is still my fave. fairy tail is my second though.

This is a abolutely sad as to how this manga needs to copy One peice, Yu Yu Hakusho, or DBZ. I guess the new gen manga writers are no match for the Old generation writers of Naruto, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ruruoni Kenshin. Like your opinion will always be your own but it is honestly by far one of the best, well told, anime/manga series out there. Like to really grasp what truly goes on in One piece you pretty much have to watch/read it episode by episode.

Fairy tail sucks for 2 reasons: 1) THERES NO BLOOD!! it doesnt make sense when erza cuts people with her weapons (sword), there's not a single drop of blood coming out of the bodies!! WTF!! 2) too much comedy in serious situations!! i mean when theyr're like in a dire situation, trapped or something, they add WAY too much comedy that is not consistent to the context or situation!! FAIL!
SPOILER!! The only thing that pissed me off about this manga is when they dissappear for 7 years and come back and fairy tail is the suckiest guild :(

I think the mains are the 4 like they all have there own main story sorta like The Lost Hero , and The Son of Neptune they have like 3 or 4 main charachters that tell the story
i believe lucy is the primary main char however it seems that erza, natsu, gray, and lucy all take that spot time in and time out and the fact that most of natsu's life as a dragon slayer has more questions i would believe that he really pulls me the manga at this point is prettymuch starting a new arc about 10 chapter in maybe but it has been an amazing journey and i believe it will blow up big really soon my only complaint is that no one can really gauge the power levels of each character
fairy tale is good but i thing the dubbed voices from funimation dont fit the characters well enough but the subbed episodes are really good and i dont really like to read the manga its more of a preference thing you should do reviews and previews of the subbed episodes
I think fairy tail begins interesting and original but over time deviates into the standard shonen anime without anything that stands out. the fanservice is extreme but that doesnt bother me as much as the lack of character development.
when naruto and bleach end which should be in a year or two, i dont think fairy tail is gonna be able to fill the void.
maybe it will be the next biggest manga after naruto/one peice/bleach but i dont thing it can compare especialy with naruto which is the biggest (not in number of chapters)of all and i think it can compares easy with DB

@jatnikaD dude I watch/read the 4 and you should know that Naruto is the biggest manga/anime around the world so you'd better not underestimate it. Naruto & One Piece are in the same league, Bleach is a little behind and Fairy Tail doesn't have the quality yet to compare to Bleach, it lacks in story content, but in the future who knows...

fairy tail is overrated. The fights are tedious, the plot lacks depth, and the characters are annoying (except for a few). Overall i think people like it because of the fanservice (Isn't that right, Lucy).
@TheDrmcvey the fights are awesome and most of the characters are fine some are stupid like the villains not the bosses but the ones under them like the Element 4 but the plot is deep enough its about as deep as Dragon Ball a series that has depth but people say it doesn't and still considered great and at least its not broken plot holed like Naruto or have the plotholes and forgotten characters like Bleach the series if definitely good and the fan service isn't the reason trust me

its a good series and all (and it does rip off one piece character wise) but im worried its going to have the same problem naruto had. it will go 130 episodes before having to stop to let the manga get ahead. in 80 episodes of filler. look at its pace. In terms of pacing it is nothing like it. one piece dosent have many fillers because it goes a chapter per episode fairy tail on the other hand goes like 3 chapters an episode.
if the anime/manga gets even better then it definetly will be one of the next top shonen along with Ao No Exorcist if it starts back and Gamaran when it becomes an anime

i believe lucy is the primary main char however it seems that erza, natsu, gray, and lucy all take that spot time in and time out and the fact that most of natsu's life as a dragon slayer has more questions i would believe that he really pulls me the manga at this point is prettymuch starting a new arc about 10 chapter in maybe but it has been an amazing journey and i believe it will blow up big really soon my only complaint is that no one can really gauge the power levels of each character

I think fairy tail begins interesting and original but over time deviates into the standard shonen anime without anything that stands out. the fanservice is extreme but that doesnt bother me as much as the lack of character development.
when naruto and bleach end which should be in a year or two, i dont think fairy tail is gonna be able to fill the void.

maybe it will be the next biggest manga after naruto/one peice/bleach but i dont thing it can compare especialy with naruto which is the biggest (not in number of chapters)of all and i think it can compares easy with DB
now one peice i think is a manga,no,maybe better to say the anime is only for kids
i remember my self at 5 year old to see one peice(with dubed translation) and that time i realy liked it

It's okay. It has enotional moments, and the fights have a great variety.
Not like bleach, where everyone effectively uses a blade.
But it is not remotely near One Piece's emotions or Battle variety.
Fairy Tail is more Fun based then One Piece, with loads of great running gags. in that aspect it might be better then OP ;)

Just one more cursed month ONE and Fairy Tail releases in England I need it i'm up to date on the anime my cousin reccomended it and i'd heard it mentioned by 2 of my mates so I thought cool i'll give it a try so I watched it fell in love with it instantly spent about a month just watching it to get up to date lool when the Tenrou Island arc ends in the anime i'm gonna spend a whole day gettin up to date on the manga too it's brillient my I never thought i'd find a series i love more than Naruto

HxH: Gon wants to find his father (bonus: awesome characters)

i always hear naruto is first, then bleach and then one piece. But i find bleach a little too boring to be called that good and naruto is for me like third place. One piece is for me way better than those two. Fairy tail is cool too.

well maybe yes it would become big as naruto and bleach but this series will not big enough to compare with One Piece. please remember this, dont put one piece as the same leauge as naruto or bleach because One Piece level is beyond the two. and goes for fairy tail compare to One Piece is just an amateur who draws it. @jatnikaD dude I watch/read the 4 and you should know that Naruto is the biggest manga/anime around the world so you'd better not underestimate it. Naruto & One Piece are in the same league, Bleach is a little behind and Fairy Tail doesn't have the quality yet to compare to Bleach, it lacks in story content, but in the future who knows...

thanks for choosing to make your own opinion this series is good and the dub is also good and Gray is Sasuke done right lol and as for Lucy shes the main female character Natsu is the main male character its a shared spot but the story is actually more about the guild then any specific character

fairy tail is overrated. The fights are tedious, the plot lacks depth, and the characters are annoying (except for a few). Overall i think people like it because of the fanservice (Isn't that right, Lucy).

@TheDrmcvey the fights are awesome and most of the characters are fine some are stupid like the villains not the bosses but the ones under them like the Element 4 but the plot is deep enough its about as deep as Dragon Ball a series that has depth but people say it doesn't and still considered great and at least its not broken plot holed like Naruto or have the plotholes and forgotten characters like Bleach the series if definitely good and the fan service isn't the reason trust me

its a good series and all (and it does rip off one piece character wise) but im worried its going to have the same problem naruto had. it will go 130 episodes before having to stop to let the manga get ahead. in 80 episodes of filler. look at its pace. In terms of pacing it is nothing like it. one piece dosent have many fillers because it goes a chapter per episode fairy tail on the other hand goes like 3 chapters an episode.
