Love this kind of stuff, cats aren't always willing to "play" with dogs. But it shows well how cats are easily capable of defending themselves against dogs (not declawed). Most people think a big dog against a house cat is cruel to the cat, but let me tell you from experience of taking my full grown Rotty to the vet after "playing" with the neighbor cat, he had 8 stitches in his face from that cat. Now he's scared shitless of that cat rofl.

my hubby used to own a pomeranian when we were just friends at the time and with his ex wife at the time, he loved me to bits. but they divorced and she kept him. we've been wanting another one for so long but wish people would stop selling them for 450$. our best bet is keep an eye out at our local animal refuge and hopefully one will come in,but even then it will be 200$.

@Sawittee Try Pomeranian Rescue Groups. Adoption fees are much more reasonable than $450. Better yet, adopt a mutt from the pound and get hybrid vigor which will make your non-purebred dog healthier and better able to resist disease. Good for you (lower vet bills) and good for your dog (healthier).

They buy them without knowing anything about the breed and then can't handle the breed's main characteristics. The adoption fee will be much lower than $450. Although you may want to stop and think for a moment. If $200 is too much for you to handle, what if you get a dog and it gets sick? Could you afford the vet bills?

My pomeranian loves to chase our cats. She doesn't wrestle with them though I'm sure she'd love to, but they are old (almost 10 years) and she is just a year old. She runs after them huffing and puffing then corners them and just stands over them and every now and then she jumps on them with her front feet. All the cats do is hiss at her. Best dog in the world.
