  • ***THRONE***

  • I brought myself here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will have to thank myself, in the future, for a splendid evening of music--though if I thank myself in the future, that might create some kind of time paradox. Ah well. I'm sure it'll be fine.

  • I can listen to this over and over. This song is it!

  • Nicole Knudson brought me here.

  • Esta canción me eriza la piel sin importar las veces que la escuche

  • Esta es la típica canción que se queda atrapada a la mitad de un sueño y suena en tu coco una y otra vez hasta que te despiertas.

  • Está bien chula esta canción.

  • Sitting in bed for an hour, flicking through related tracks brought me here when I should be sleeping.

  • Portishead brought me here!

  • Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror brought me here

  • This song would be much better if it was 12 minutes long.

  • @TheOissin How about 12 hours?

  • I dont really like this kind of music, but i llove this song :D

  • The black mirror brought me here, then I took an arrow to the knee!

  • the black mirror brought me here

  • Would that be hard to learn to play on guitar?

  • @henio008 I don't think so....Portishead songs are beautiful but quite easy to play :)

  • Nice song but i knew i recognised the rhythem from somewhere and i finally got it, they sampled NORRIS MAN- PERSISTANCE!!... which is a classic by the way..LOL seems like every song is sampled these days :D .

  • @SourceOfDesire No they didn't, but thanks for posting that anyway...listened to the track and really liked it.

  • nieskomplikowane,a jakże piękne.Ambrozja dla uszu.

  • Sublime! :D

  • My only dislike is the VEVO insignia in the corner of the video .

  • Just saw Portishead live on the weekend and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since

  • did all the english speakers like that top comment 'cause it says orgasmo? i did.

  • @standardclass Maybe its the only word they understand?

  • @standardclass haha dam right :P

  • @standardclass it says it was an eargasm to listen them in a particular music festival in Mexico City.

  • @quartelanimation ah, was still wondering what it actually meant, cheers. and i bet it was a multi-eargasmo!

  • @standardclass I haven't had the chance to see them live, but I always get the chills when I play my "Roseland NYC Live" LP I guess is not my time yet... and I hope not to die without see them live. :D

  • @standardclass dougie dougie dougie

  • The genius that is Charlie Brooker didn't bring me here...he showed me the way and the light <3

  • The transition with "will I follow?" is right in the middle of the song, does it prove that is the perfect song?

  • I heard this on the advert for that TV show and just had to listen again.

  • Can't decide which song to pick for my last breath (on Earth), The Rip or The Great Gig In The Sky...

  • Nice

  • Sounds like John Wayne Gacy Jr by Sufjan

    Ojalá y regresen pronto.

  • If anyone with the capability wanted to edit this into a loop so that it plays uninterrupted for much longer, I'd listen to that again and again, and I'm sure a lot of others would too.

  • @Silverios99 Eeeeeeeey, es muy cierto :3 Lo de las edades me resulta increible...

  • i just cant stop listening third ! wonderfull album

  • That's what music is about :)

Totally worth the 11 years wait. What a complex album Third is. But it grows on you, really does.

  • @climber910 i agree, and its a grower too, its funny how a lot of people who i know first heard the album didnt like it as much as the first now they think its the best thing they have done to date.

  • This is so trippy.

  • @DungaarthBanshee is that a bad thing?

  • If you like this song you should listen to Sufjan Stevens John Wayne Gacy Jr. because the beat is nearly exactly the same. I can't listen to one without hearing the other in my mind.

  • wow.

  • This is actually pretty freaking awesome.

  • Depressing...but the beautiful way..

  • beautiful and eccentric and spacey song. one of my favourites from them. :) can't wait for the new album.

  • @blackbuilding u must get beth gibbons and rustin man you will find it really interesting :)

  • Defenetly one of the best songs of all time.

  • RIP CITY!!!!

  • Beautiful fucking song. The video is like Bakshi times 100, though.

  • gotta rock the BOSE.....awesome

  • simply perfect.beutifull

  • will send the dark underneath will i follow..

  • Beth Gibbons I have fallen in love with your voice.

  • I want this song to go on forever...

  • How I interpret the video; starts out nature, maybe representative of the innocence of early life, nature is taken over by the shallowness of humanity or growing up to know life; we are all free falling to our dooms (not taking over nature, its just the experience of passing through life generally) while we free fall we meet with others, have fleeting relationships, loves we are bound to loose in our tangled criss-cross of passing aimlessly through our existence. In the end its what we make it.

  • @Raflegan ... The masses are eyeless, the people in hang-gliders sore above the eyeless masses making a better life off of them, they're wearing glasses: they're eyeless too, but it's not as apparent because they use superficial advantage to take advantage of the majority.

  • I love this song <3

  • WWWOOOOOOOWWWWWW......great video.....wooww...listen portishead ever..ever is reassuring...ke puto video tan mas extraño y fascinante a la vez

  • As she walks in the room Scented and tall Hesitating once more And as I take on myself And the bitterness I felt I realise that love flows Wild, white horses They will take me away And the tenderness I feel Will send the dark underneath Will I follow? Through the glory of life I will scatter on the floor Disappointed and sore And in my thoughts I have bled For the riddles I've been fed Another lie moves over
  • to my mind, this video is the song for the sentence " carpe diem", live every day as if it would be the last one...

  • seen live at HMH Amsterdam... GREAT!!!

  • siempre seras tuuuu hoooo me enkntaa esta super rolaaaa !!!!!

  • this song could have been named the trip.

  • Grandioso Portishead The Rip

  • Radiohead doesn't have a vevo

  • Perfect song. 10/10. Would fap to it again.

  • This song just changed my day at first listening...

  • el dia estaba chido pero el cielo ha empezado a tornarse grisáceo y melancolico...

    ... & I realise that love flows - with you "d'nix"

  • quiero este video en mi ps3 T__T

  • Its just an advert on youtube, its not really important. There are people in the world with REAL problems, like starving children, oppressive regimes, if you are arguing over the pros and cons of vevo, then you clearly have way too much time on your hands

  • CumScreen song

  • Vevo raped my mother and killed my father!!

  • @ibullman Go kill yourself.

  • who made this video?

  • exelente!!!!

  • what a masterpiec

  • "fuck vevo" *yet they're still watching vevo vids*

  • The absolute only way to make sense of this video is while you're baked.

  • this should last at least 20 minutes

  • @vilan totally agree!

  • Someone hates the world ........

  • Great. Maybe you should listen to NUCLEODAMA.

  • alot of vevo cannot be viewed mobile in canada either

  • that riff should go on for ever

  • PORTIS HEAD IS NOW MAINSTREAM STOP LISTENING

  • @SwineFluInCompany Hipster

  • North American tour in Oct... AWWWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!

  • Check out Kolortowns brandnew EP. Who said return of the 90ies?:)

  • Przepiękna opowieść, tak jak wiele w wykonaniu Portishead. Świetne video. Znów nie mogę się oderwać...:)

  • People are ugly, humanity is falling. Hm... Seems about right.

  • this video is beautiful and scary at the same time.

  • I dunno who made this video but I think its great. The watery rhythm and movement complement the song so well as well as the kind of subconscious feel it gives. Also how the images are more abstract and not so literal. Nice job! :)

  • Nothing can be taken away or added to this song to make it any better. It is perfect, timeless

  • prawdziwa sztuka taki kawałek zrobic

  • first time i watched the film clip.. if i was ever going to kill myself i would do it like this film clip; jump out of a plane, probably for the same reasons expressed in the song

    "Through the glory of life

I will scatter on the floor

    Disappointed and sore

And in my thoughts I have bled

For the riddles I've been fed

    Another lie moves over"

i mean come on.. what a lyric

  • I am delighted

  • GREAT!!! ;D
