  • In my opinion, Pete Jolly's rendition of the beautiful Burt Bacharach song "Windows of the World" is one of the finest jazz/pop piano performances EVER.

  • Pokeeeemon !

  • What an ear for great pop talent Herb Alpert had in the 1960s and 1970s!

  • One of the greatest jazz pianists EVER!

  • I heard this album in Philly in 1968. Please would someone download "lonely girl" on side "B"-1st song. 96.5 WHAT-FM certainly was on target. One of my favorite albums of all-time.

  • I absolutely love the late, great Pete Jolly's rendition of this great Burt Bacharach tune and listen to it often!

  • Fine wine. Good company. Pete Jolly's music.

    Life's good.

  • @asdf242010 The best comment. Nothing else to be said.

  • beautiful peice of music making, that A&M Bacharach sound, with a little McCann rythmn on the bottom. Pete Jolly could make some beautiful sounds on that piano and I'm just scatching the surface of his works. Im leaning toward the A&M and warner bros period. The "Blues" peice that he did in the Eastwood documentary made me "hear" him after hearing him on the radio all my life via Chuck Niles.

  • sounded like a really cool guy love the music

  • never got to meet him but this is my gf's grandfather

  • this is by far one the greatest jazz albums around.I bought it on Ebay for 11 bucks and had a friend of mine transfer it to CD.I just love it...I hope every one does to!

  • Every time I listen to this I start crying. I am a 63 year old married man who has experienced many tragedies in that time. Since, as a teenager, I first heard his recordings with Chuck Berghofer and Larry Bunker I have always loved his piano playing and his sense of rhythm.

  • Proper class with Pete Jolly !

  • Still sounds as sweet as the 40 yrs ago I last heard this album, which opened the doors to my love of jazz. Thank you for posting this trip down memory lane, and thank you, Mr Jolly, for being an inspiration for me to pursue learning piano. RIP my friend and "mentor".

  • Don't talk to this fool. He is a disgusting freak!!! Check his comments on snake attacks squirrel and see!!!!

  • I saw The Pete Jolly Trio at LA State College in the early 60's.I really liked the sound being a jazz buff at the time.Went out and bought an LP titled "Little Bird".Good sounds.

  • Este LP es una verdadera joya y de una calidad mosical única. Herb Alpert lo presentó y toca en muchos títulos.UNICO!!

  • Beautiful. So nice! Outstanding! I gotta get my hands on this lp.

  • Is there anyone who has little bird?

  • I dont think "Little Bird" has been reissued on CD yet. The song is on his "Yours Truly" CD.

  • one of the most dynamic pianist who ever lived ! His trio with chuck berghofer on bass and nick martinis was one of the longest ever in jazz. buy his cds "yours truly" or "yeah" His greatest work was an lp called

'seasons" very hard to find but a masterpiece. Pete also was a great accordion player very rare to find that stuff. we lost a true monster on the piano when pete passed.

  • dynamic! As Oscar Peterson was also. RIP Peterson!!

  • Spot on maybeRocks, stay in the groove!

  • lol yeah

  • How do you get the song ? It's sooo nice :D
