  • That white and brown male at 19 sec is LEGIT! Great bite and reaction time.

  • is this to fight them?

  • @CoolTriops5 No ----- It's protection sport work .

  • @glinn oh thts nice:)

  • @glinn if its protection work why are they not biting the arm with the weapon?

  • @cashmny78 Its protection SPORT work .It's meant to display drives and strengths in the dog that can be used in protection. It is not real protection work .Just like boxing is not real fighting but it can show you something !

  • @glinn Very nice. It does show those dogs have amazing drive. Defense Drive + Prey Drive = FIGHT DRIVE! Cant have a protection dog without it.

  • any k r to this

woestions for trainers around the akron area

  • how do you treat your dog to do this? such as protection but not for attacking other dogs, my APBT is 2 months old and should i start now or how is this done???

  • @caliswang You have to contact a professional trainer who works with Schutzhund protection work. Not all dogs are able to handle this type of work/sport. It takes a good dog, with good nerves. The dog also has to be socialized in many different situations, and arond different types of people. And it costs A LOT of money. Its a sport you have to be completely dedicated in. You CAN NOT quit this type of sport half way thru. The average owner couldn't handle something like this with their dog.

  • @saisha57 shut up....you can do PSA, Mondioring, IPO, French Ring, etc. etc. etc. Schutzhund is a joke anyways, and they overcharge people. Any dog that will play tug can do bitework.

The average owner need to only own Pugs.

  • @caliswang don't believe what you were told. You can start doing this dog by playing tug with it. Then look up local protection sports clubs in your city. any dog that will play tug hard can do it. Good luck!!

  • can you train my dog to do that?

  • VERY VERY NICE, NO FIGHT FOR PIT, TNX! GOOD JOB!

  • big muscles !!

  • That shit iz HOTTTTTTTTT...i love seeing videos that actually show what the Pit Bull was MEANT TO DO...BE AGGRESSIVE...All the vids on youtube showing Pit Bulls playing nicey nice with kittens is all good an all but thats NOT what they were bred for..They were bred to be gladiators

  • American PitBull Terriers.... the greatest....

  • se ve muy fuerte el amstaff ke sale en el minuto 2:00

yo tengo un amstaff estoi empesando a meterle ovediensia pero no soy bueno en eso xDD

  • check out the pittys on this video

  • @leightahlor Nice -- I like that !!!!

  • AMERICAN PITBULL,, EL MEJOR PERRO DEL MUNDO!!!

    SIN DUDA!!!

  • great dogs

shame this bred is baned from the uk now ;-(

i grew up around these dogs as child,i miss them so much now

  • cool dogs ,, but i like more gsd

  • APBT from gaming lines like Jeep, Eli, Chinaman, Sorrells etc are dogs with amazing drive, speed, strength and stamina. I don't understand why does Malinois get to be the number pick for police work, protection work etc? Where as abts are considered as human friendly animal aggressive dogs.

  • @deMaven ...APBT were bred and trained to be human friendly/animal aggressive. If it were the other way around, they wouldn't have been of much use fighting each other would they?

  • Why are they training pit bulls for guarding?

  • I have a GREAT respect for dogs trained in protection and agility. I will be enrolling my boy in classes in the next few months to train him for protection.

  • What is the point of hitting them? what is the point of this whole video?

  • beautiful dog

  • beautiful dog

  • awesome video. Great dogs.

  • WERE THOSE THIS TAKE PLACE AT ??

  • you have to be one brave soul to put on those bite suits!

  • very well trained dogs man...they look good

  • nice dogs ! =)

  • See ppl american bullies can do that. thats why i love apbt and amstaffs they r awesome. but y hit the dog so hard i no its just in case an assaulter has a weapon but plz u might hurt the dog.

  • @MrKingPerfect its a foam object

  • @MrKingPerfect LOL hurt a pitbull with with a plastic stick!? Haha, kid I've seen a pit take a metal bat to the head and not let go of what it was biting, and I saw one get shot three times one of which was on the head and it didn't stop. These dogs are incredible if gamebred but they shouldn't be trained for personal protection, it's just not what they were meant for, if you want an attack dog use a german shered or belgian malinois.

  • @MrKingPerfect a dog with high fight drive will bite the bad guy with pure raw aggression but when the bad guy will hit him back almost all the dog will and go away. PPD training is to build the confidence in them that they can take the fight away from the bad guy without being hesitant even if they get hit.

  • I love shcutzhund!!!!!!!!! great looking dogs!

  • oh man, this is really scary. these are really killers. one question please. 0:20 how do the dog decide the man is just running or attacking you? and,is this just your hobby or do you use this dog as an policedog?

    greetz Neo

  • hey man i have a dog exactly like this but mine is a bit underweight just wondering what do you feed yours?

  • if you want abit more muscle give them chicken necks for dinner, depends how big your dog is i got a american staffy and she muches down 8-9 easily, but dont feed them that everyday, maybe every 2nd or 3rd day, and give them raw cow bones to strengthen there bite

  • It's only trainings and not championship noobs

  • BADASS!!!! and the end was cute lol

  • Much respect. These pits are so well behaved & listen so well... I was lovin it. Thank you!!

  • Great Video.

We going have puppies soon. I can't when my puppies drop. Old School bloodlines with News American Bullies coming.

  • i swear i thnk schutzund is retarded man.

  • daaaaaaaaaaaamn much respect great video i like pitbulls but i love a well disciplined pitbull even more. great example of what our dogs are capable of doing.

  • why are they hitting the dog..they ask the dog to bite them

  • what a fucking job of those guys whit the globe

  • ofrn pits gotta thin bushy tail not like omg hairy but you know what i mean but they the real anyway train any dog the way you want him/her to be like and you'll have gentel dog or mean one don't matter the blood lines

  • yeah a lot of what you said is true but all i have to say is sisssssssssssssk get that man!!!

  • Comment removed

  • And this is why our beloved breed is in so much trouble not 1 of these dogs fits a.d.b.a standards look at there size there long bushy tails if you ask me they look like a bunch of mixed breeds its dogs like this giving the true a.p.b.t a bad rap a true pitt is not bred to bite people its a game dog.

  • this is great i love dogs to death and its nothing like a well trained animal i am a owner of 2 purple ribbons and they are trained to the "T" also keep up the good work guys..

  • Nice dogs, very impressive!

  • yea nice dog's, i'm wondering where in so cal i can get similar training for my 10 mo. old APBT , good job,, great discipline at 2:38

  • Training like this definately makes the dog (any breed) safer. It occupys their minds, makes them smarter, more confident & healthier in general. These are great looking dogs!!

  • Yes, dogs that are training Schutzhund and French Ring are some real killers. It makes them dangerous :p So much ignorance out there. Don't open your mouth and say that this makes a dog dangerous. The dogs that compete in these sports are some of the most obedient dogs that you will see.. Don't talk about things you don't know..

  • wouldnt this make the dogs attack any 1 that works behind the owner ??? ect as the dogs would think its just trainning ??? i own a 9 week old APBT and i wouldnt train her for this

  • oh,nice to see that somebody works whit dogs whit controll and fun..i make something like this tests too,but whitout biting..

  • interesting---is this a part of apbt championships?

  • I think APBT aren't made for being security dogs!

I found this kind of training makes an APBT dangerous. That's my meaning to this video.

But what can I see, that these people try to handle it professionell. I hope they handle their dogs in the real life intelligent, cause it can come more quickly to an accident with dogs, which are trained to bite...

  • Disagree if you must, but they are doing Schutzhund and French Ring, which are sports. The dog is trained to bite a sleeve or a padded suit, not the person. You'd never know a Schutzhund dog if you met one on the street because they are well-trained and obedient. Sport dogs are not attacking people. And yes they do occasionally hit the dog with the stick, it is meant as a test of drive and courage under physical pressure. It is not abusive.

  • One of the first lessons we teach in schutzhund is OUST/OUT which means back off. Although it looks vicious, it's all very well choriographed. If the dog is uncontrollable you can get help from top trainers from around the world. If the dog is really uncontrollable, do you really want it around anyway?

Dogs bite, it's what they do. Isn't it better to give structure to the situation?

  • are thay hiting the dogs????????????

  • I hate this song, its way overused, it is the sole reason of why I won't finish watching this video.

  • Originally there was a different song but U-tube made me change it for copy-right . I'll see if I can change it again . LOL .

  • @glinn please change it...

  • @glinn fuck that dam song this breeds are the most awsome breed in the dog world

  • @alpha9mm what a douche!

  • @alpha9mm heres an idea turn the sound off duh

  • What about if the dog is guarding your child and you're not around? What if the dog perceives someone as a threat and attacks? Who's gonna' give the command?

I owned pitbulls! And the thing is... they only have one owner. They treat the rest of the family like subordinates. If I wasn't home, he (the last one) ruled the house. Yes, he would have died for me and listened to me blindly, but it was not the same with my family. Tell me you would still train a dog like that having this in sight.

  • I don't think you understand . That is the type of dog that should be trained. If he's not trained than you truly have no idea what he will do.You seem to think that training a dog for bite work will make them dangerous . It doesn't work like that .If you properly train and test a dog then you know exactly what they are capable of . You are just guessing what your dog might have done .

  • I accept the fact that I do not own the absolute truth. And I am only talking from my own and my friends' experience. I had a friend who took his pit for training and got back a whole different dog. In a few months had to put him down, cause the entire family began being afraid of him. / My last pit was the sweetest dog in the world (didn't even know how to bite) 'till I said to myself one day: "What the hell, I'm 110 pounds. I need protection."

  • So I started to train him for attack. I only used balls, rope, rags and co. Never gave the command for human attack. But... guess what: One day he decided he is the true master of the house and snaped at my mum. He would have never had the guts to do that if I has home, but I wasn't. He was punished and the deed was forgotten 'till he attacked another dog outside, out of the blue. My sweet boy was out of control... That being said, in MY case, training for attack was a mistake. Never again!

  • My personal dogs are aggressive and dominate ! But I don't have any problems at home with my kids .Because their trained and know what they can and can't do . Your dog attacked another dog because he's a pit bull and you didn't have proper control of him . Not because you were attack training him ! If you don't know what your doing than hire a professional trainer. And YES that can be dangerous if you can't handle your own dog.

  • Your mum should have been taught how to handle him properly .

  • @glinn <------- u are wrong

  • @MissCedarbridge1 wrong about what ?

  • @glinn never mind sir sorry

  • That's not true. I have a 2 1/2 y/o pit as well as boxer/ german shepard cross and a coyote dog. My pit will guard the family and dogs against other dogs but he submits to almost all people. My boxer mix and coyote dog is 10x's the guard dog my pit is. My pit even submits to my 6 y/o girl! He will tear up other dogs if they threaten us or the other dogs though.

  • If the dog decide to not lisen anymore, YOU failed at being the alpha leader. Pits aren't like Rott or other dog races that DO try to get over their masters once in a while. If you did your job correctly while raising them, they will ALWAYS stick to you as pack leader and would even die for you. Its all about training ... I've seen some badass Labradors out there that I wouldn't even try to pet them.

    Training>Master>whatever race of dog.

  • A dog that attacks a human (play or not), is a human aggressive dog.

And you can train them to "leave" or "drop" with a ball or a toy, or anything else - except a human arm.

What I am trying to say is: you are right: "Those that would just might do it anyway", but those don't lock their jaws. They bite and release. The pitbulls in the video are trained to lock their jaws. And if they decide not to listen anymore, or if the owner is nor around to give the command... can you imagine?

  • You have no idea what your talking about.

  • @h3l3na07 They are not locking their jaws, that is a myth. There are no dogs that can "lock" their jaws, they are simply hanging on. These dogs are trained that the "sleeve" is essentially an awesome tug toy. You most certainly CAN train them to drop anything they have in their mouth. A dog who is aggressive towards humans is unsuitable for protection work as they need a rock solid temperament. All of these dogs are attentive and responsive to their handlers, I see no signs of aggression.

  • I am no expert... but I owned pitbulls and I know their strength. I wouldn't have trained any of my pits to attack a human, even if it would be just "just playing"... cause if that dog would ever grab someone's arm, it would probably rip it apart. And it is true, most of them would never bite into human flesh. But what about those who would? Why would you take that chance, train them like that, when pits were raised through generation after generation with no human aggression?

  • "But what about those who would? " Well let's think about it . Those that would just might do it anyway ----- trained or not . A trained dog can be told to stop or let go . I'll take the trained dog that will bite .If a dog has the capacity to bite someone than it SHOULD be trained so you have full control over it .

  • "train them like that, when pits were raised through generation after generation with no human aggression?"

No where in this vid is a dog displaying real human aggression . They are trained protection dogs . Very safe dogs unless you attack the owner . Than you get what you deserved .

  • This is sad to see as it's not the true temperament of the APBT, they're so human friendly that if a Robber came into your home with you being there or not they'd probably show the robber where the jewls are and than walk off with the robber, and make it clear to the robber that he/she has to be petted.

  • Nice screen name dude !! LOL . So you think it's sad to see well trained dogs ? That is called sport work . Those dogs are trained to bite equipment . I bet you that most of those dogs would not bite into human flesh .Some might but most are just playing a game of tug .Most people don't understand what they are looking at and most people think they are an expert on what a pit bulls temp should be !!!! LOL !!!

  • song is gay dogs cool

  • awsome vid pitbull are the shit

  • i'm tired of this garbage song....mute, but great vid.

  • Great video!! I really want to get my pit into shows and competitions like this. What do I need to do to get him into it??

  • join your kennel club :)

  • If youre in the US...You need to have a registered American Pit Bull Terrier with a registry like the ADBA, UKC, AADR...Prefereably the ADBA though. The dogs in the ADBA are usually more traditional type game bred dogs that are high quality performers.

  • Im not a big AADR fan ID say ADBA>UKC>AADR in terms of US shows

  • AADR is on the rise. its not as old as the UKC or ADBA even. Its under new ownership and i think theyve taken steps in the right direction the other two havent. UKCs dogs are just Am Staffs for the most part. AADR is actually making the American Bully a seperate registerable breed instead of allowing them to continue to be registered as APBT. IMO

  • @nutsack666 Don't forget Bonafide Kennels registry...less paper hangers and authentic APBT working dogs.

  • @malvo9988 dont know much about them man.

  • @nutsack666 Founded by the Great Carl Mims.

  • @malvo9988 Oh okay. Didnt he get fucked over a few years ago?

  • @nutsack666 I didn't hear that, but one things for sure dogs registered under Carl Mims Bonafide kennels are true working APBT .

  • @malvo9988 yeah...now that ive looked into it his registry is the real deal.

  • nice vid man what lines are your 3 dogs your talking about? jw......an did you train your self or personal protection train them ?

  • great video

  • A Real Pit(Bonafide) that shows aggression

  • The exercise is to show the dogs gameness at not letting go of the perpetrator/criminal even under threat of being hit or harmed. These dogs are trained in an admirable sport. Whether used privately as guard dogs or police service dogs, these dogs are cared for greatly by their owners and trainers. Should all pitbulls have the oppurtunity to expend their tireless energy and high intelligence in such a way we would not the horror stories and breed biased chitheads that are out there.

  • adinocr7. You ARE the weakest link. Can people really be this friggin stupid. Allow me to educate the general public of morons. GAMENESS is not high tolerance to pain, RATHER it is any dogs tenacity and willingness to continue an action. This video is either a training or competition for a Guard/ Surveillence/ Obedience/ Tracking activity called SCHUTZHUND. The batons are not rubber, and the dogs ARE NOT actually being hit.

  • oh you are so wrong! my pitbull will pretend he isnt hurt so he can continue training! and during stress your pain sensers are turned off!

  • PRETEND HE ISNT HURT, exactly moron you just said it yourself. Gameness is WILLINGNESS to continue an action, not an ignorance of pain. Turn off pain sensors when we're stressed? What are you, 10? Tell me, would it still hurt if I punched you in the face or stabbed you in the gut even you were stressed that day? Of course it would you idiot. Adrenaline could account for such an event, but again such a situation would not be an ignorance of pain, more of an unrealization.

  • Hope all those words weren't too big for you.

  • i have three pit bulls and all are national apbt champs! and so what if my gramer isnt so great. im 22 years old and own a two hundred thousand dollar house and have just about every thing i want because of my dogs so you can go fuck yourself!

  • LOL, bitch please you're funny. If you are 22 and "own" a house worth $200k then either you're a ho or it's your man's money. I own three APBT's as well and they're REAL national champions - you know UKC, ADBA, IWPA. So jump off it and into a book. Just maybe you'll learn something.

  • i have nothing to prove to you. lol your an idiot im a man i just so happen to be on my girls account. and one more thing i never finished school but my wife has her bachelors degree and im a manager. english is my second language thats why my gramer is so bad. oh i forgot go suck a cock!

  • Riiiiiiiiiiight.

  • dude a pit bull is one of the best dogs out there and there one of the nicest to i have one it all depends on how you rase a dog you dip shit

  • its how the dog is bred

  • yea true but it also maters on how you raze the dogs

  • true

  • cool video! pitbulls r the best dog breed in the world =)

  • should have put better music to this

  • there is nothing more obediant hardworking and loyal than a pitbull

  • my dog is world champion in the my heart

  • good job ! good dog

  • Bluntsmok3r-- your tellin me a smith&wesson .357 revolver is gona jam?I dont think so, but I love pits and they can get down!I have1 and a rotty

  • Whats the name of the song?

    Mats

    Sweden

  • Wow... Here everybody can see how fantastic dogs APBTS are. The most versatile breed in the world and the best dog possible with the right owner.

    Mats

    Sweden

  • hehehe that is comedi : my dog not put hand. just put your face or throat .neck

  • Myself and three of the other dog trainers at the facility i work at own pit bulls, and if you ask anyone of them or anyone who owns a pit for that matter, they'll tell you that its the best dog they ever had. If you want a relentless dog that will walk through hell and back with you wagging his tail the whole way then go get a pit. with early socialization and proper obedience they can be the best thing that ever happened to you.

  • I'm a true believer in the Bully breed dogs. Had to ask though . . . exactly what is this video all about? I donate to several shelters and do what I can to fight for this breed's survival. I thing the dog shows, weight pulling and agility are great. However if the politicians see a competition where a dog is going to town on a bite pad and getting hit with a stick . . . please by all means help me understand what I'm watching here.

  • its not hard to understand you tell me what do you see and ill tell you thats what going on

  • I'm obviously misunderstanding the video. I've seen in the past that when these dogs are trained for the "pit" they're usually whacked with a rubber baton while holding on to a bite pad so their tolerance for pain is increased. That's basically what I see because I've never seen this type of training used for anything else that's positive. I'm an open minded person though so I apologize ahead of time if I've misinterpreted the video.

  • oh I see

  • Are these competitions for police training or anything of that nature? If so then I could truly see the point. My only thing is it would be great if there was a brief explanation to these type's of vid's so that people don't get the wrong idea. That's really all I was getting at.

I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to know that a dog hanging on to a bite pad, getting beat with a baton and getting dragged through obstacles probably isn't going to help with the dog's disposition.

  • okay

  • Yup

  • i don't know what back yard pit traning you have seen but wacking a dog with a rubber baton will not make it tolerance for pain go up. it will just get your ar tired. game is the only thing that can make pitbulls tolerance go up with out it a pitbull is just like every other dog

  • Dude I'll say it for the 3rd time then . . . Simply put "What is the purpose of this event and why is it I can't get a clear answer from anyone?". That's all I want to know.

  • the video is showing you total control of your dog. a dog is gone to dite if it is gone to bite. the difference is if our dog broke away we could tell it to stop. the obstacles is for protection work if someone attacked you and was fighting the dog you wouldn't want your dog to let go until you feel safe then you give the command . that is why most decoy freeze up then you call your dog off. letting the dog know that it is safe

  • I appreciate the explanation; makes a lot more sense. They are an incredible breed no doubt. I still to this day can not think of any other breed of dog I'd rather have around my family. People are just too lame to realize that the media is full of it and that this breed is actually responsible for the smallest percentage of dog bites out there. Take care.

  • same too you be cool

  • a dog is much better than a loaded gun they wont misfire or jam.. i own 12 pitbulls and they all love kids n have never thought about attackin them.. these dogs are told to attack. if u watch the video the dog stoped after it riped of tha arm guard off. these dogs are tha best dogs known to man. they will do anything to please their owner..

  • well that's not the only training method out their everyone, seems to find a problem when it comes to pit bulls, how do you thinks cops train their dogs, these dogs are trained their not acting out of fear, they wont attack unless given the command, remember it's not about aggression it's bout.

  • I don't see any problem with this. In THIS situation. But the problem is still that only the owner can call the dog off. The dog may respect its owner, but what if the owner was not around and the dog attacked someone? They have still been trained to attack n what if someone else made that 'hi! hi!' noise around the dog?

  • well that's not the only training method out their everyone, seems to find a problem when it comes to pit bulls, how do you thinks cops train their dogs, these dogs are trained their not acting out of fear, they wont attack unless given the command, remember it's not about aggression it's bout. temperament, to the dogs it's a game just like fetch

  • They called an Oust for the dog to let go. If oyu didnt hear it,listen closer...

  • it's funny,,,because it was never shown that the trainer to ask the dog to leave the victim and the dog do so!! this training looks wrong to me because you need to have full control over your dog

  • That's why it's called training, just like any sport you get better

  • Yes it was. He told the dog. And the owners are supposed to be able to communicate this to the dog without speaking as well.

  • i train mi pit like this she really goood at it to and she like this kinda training when she can bite and run and really work :P

  • This type of training requires a lot of control work . Those dogs are under their owners control and are much safer than untrained dogs .

  • my gun is always loaded under my pilow

  • ahh if a child ran past noisily, the dog would probably lick the childs face.

You obviously never owned an APBT..

  • do you know anything abt training??

  • no one minds German shepherds being trained like this, and who the hell is going to bring their little kid to a place like that?

  • lol i have been going to training like this since i was 2. there is no problem bringing a kid to it. its a safe environment.

  • Nice Dogs! I need to train my Pit just like dat, she`s almost there, I cant believe how smart these dogs r!

  • Nice
