I realy think the touch screan techlogy should go to the keyboard and mouse as the Nintendo DS.. of course the screan would be also thouch but.. if the keyboard is touch screan you would be able to use a sensive pen to graphic software etc (i thik the notebook that HP has with it is more pratical then this one particularly)....

Touchscreen WHY? For most desktop applications, uses and users I fail to see the benefit of a touchscreen.

Drawbacks: Fingerprints all over the screen. Selection and control requires gross muscle movement rather than the quick, small movements a mouse interface uses.

Touchscreen makes sense on a tablet pc, in a factory environment, public accessible terminal. But for a home or office desktop, why would anyone want one? What is the benefit? Can someone please explaine this to me?

Surely a graphics designer would need and use a graphics tablet? Using a vertically oriented pc screen while employing the fine motor control needed for careful brush strokes would seem awkward at best and perhaps even counter productive. Graphics tablets typically use stylus inputs pressure sensitive and much more accurate than the average touch screen.

Perhaps but it seems unlikely that a graphics designer would ever use this type of screen as their primary or even secondary interface.
