  • Dude, those speakers are not made for that kind of bass, get a subwoofer or listen to better music. Crap sounding!!

  • Looks and sounds like those very expensive speakers are being damaged!

  • @moochincrawdad sounds like you don't know what you're talking about! The speakers were not expensive, and they're not damaged.. I still have them, they sound great.

  • @polaris911 The speakers sound AWFUL!

  • verry good =)

  • polk's speakers have very good bass response my nana has 2 of the ones with a big single driver ad theirs deep responsibly load bass without distorting

  • What rubbish....and clean your room.

  • Plus whats the music at 2:14 Please :)

  • Haha, I don't use shitty Logitech speakers :) I use 80 Onkyo Speakers with a 200 Watt Bose Sub woofer.

  • @ForRealStudiosHD Bose is the worst lol.

  • Why do people always have to put shit music through nice speakers. If you listen to that garbage then you deserve nothing more than some old school cerwin vegas that are just made to pound and not sound good. Come back when your taste in music grows up

  • @spawn2k1 Dude, the purpose of the video is to show woofers flexing. I don't listen to Jeezy exclusively, and I am willing to bet my musical tastes are far more diverse than your own. I play pop/rap for these videos because it appeals to more people and it demonstrates the power of the receiver. I'm not going to play Arcade Fire or Kings of Leon for a flexing video. Get your head out of your ass and get with the times, you don't know me.

  • @polaris911 No I don't know you, but if I did I'd have to question the common sense.... Brand new speakers probably without the proper break in time, running bass heavy music through them. I realize Polk makes well built speakers and all but the possible damage to those speakers just so you can show "flexing" otherwise known as EXCURSION is ridiculous those speakers aren't made for that. And somehow since You don't know Me Yes my taste in music would far exceed yours

  • @polaris911 If you wanna show the power of a Receiver then why not get speakers that actually do that like Def Tech or Paradigm or Martin Logan. Or at least pick a speaker that can handle more power usually having larger drivers. And if you to my comment personally, try to relax a little. My comment was aimed at what was being done not specifically the person doing it SINCE I DON'T KNOW YOU.

  • @spawn2k1 Huh? I still don't see your point, I think you're just a hater. I had these speakers for a year before I made a video. Speakers don't need to be broken in, and every woofer is made for excursion.. that's why crossovers exist. The receiver is rated at 100 WPC, the speakers are rated up to 150 WPC. I know what I'm doing. So, politely fuck off.

  • @polaris911 Yep I'm just a hater and apparently you CAN'T see my point so go ahead blow your new speaks then make a video about it. L8r

  • @polaris911 I agree with the comments. Playing shitty music through the good speakers (Polk) and a vintage Pioneer receiver is plain stupid and irresponsible. "Flexing" your woofers is unnecessary because those aren't subwoofers, idiot. Crossovers exist to distribute frequencies to the proper drivers, not for the excursion of woofers.

  • @polaris911 Playing Arcade Fire or Kings of Leon would show off your speakers more than LIl Wayne. Plus, nobody cares if you're playing that shit music through your stereo because that same demographic could give a shit less about your stereo. Those are the same people who listen to shitty rap music through shitty iPod docks. Trust me, play some better music and you'll attract more people because we all know the most popular videos on YouTube are about stereos.

  • Why do you think that the Polk's sound so much better than the Sonys? The tweeters? I think the B3000's tweeters sound very good. I think the weak point in the B3000 are the 3 1/4" mid squawkers. They probably should've gone with a 5 1/4" mid but I guess they felt it unnecessary with the 8" woofer. It should cover the frequency range that the 3 1/4" could not...but I feel the mid-range it a little weak on the B3000 (only a little. My center fixes that)

  • Polk is made by samsung..

  • @smashingstuff09 No they're not..

  • @smashingstuff09 fucking dickhead lol

  • @EASTYJAZ34 MUahahahaha >:)

  • SOOOOO how do you like the POLKS

  • Go suck a dick you pussy-ass web troll.

  • Good thing you played shitty music, it matches your speakers.

  • WEAK!!!!!!!!

  • @EXOisBEAST you're weak bitch.

  • @polaris911 i wasnt going to say anything until i read, please adjust your shitty logitech speakers. ohh so you think you have the best subs out there. and then i realized you dont even have a fucking sub u nub! these are bookshelf speakers not even made for bass. your system sucks please dont flaunt it to the world.

  • @floridabowhunter Typical youtube hater.. you don't need a sub to have good bass if your bookshelf speakers are big enough. With 2.1 and 5.1 systems like you probably have, the sub usually drowns out everything with too much boomy bass. You're left with treble, bass and no midrange because the satellites are too small to hit those tones. If you don't believe me, then go buy a receiver and some speakers and see for yourself. Until then, kindly shut the fuck up.

  • @polaris911 that problem can be fixed with tower or floor standing speakers with an actual mid range instead of one tweater or two.

  • @polaris911 i dont no why u said adjust ur shitty speaker logitech speakers, i have onkyo and a asus xonar d2. with an extremely good amp. so quit thinking so small, plus your stuff sound slike shit. my onkyo's are pure quality and i have a sub to go with them. oh look your bookshelfs are almost bottoming out... too bad u cant tune the crossover on your asus xonar d2 to filter out the bass on the bookshelfs. and i guess i have a 2.1, but i can clearly hear my mids and highs aswell as bass. fail.

  • @L00peey I don't need to "filter out the bass" on my bookshelf speakers, and they weren't bottoming out dude.. you don't know what you're talking about. You haven't sat in my living room, so how can you say my rig sounds bad.. you're using satellite speakers and a sub.. I promise my system sounds better. Troll.

  • @polaris911 WRONG. i said they are ALMOST bottoming out, and yes you do need to filter out the low notes on the bookshelfs so if ur just playing through songs u dont gotta worry about hard low bass fking ur speakers up if there up loud. u dipshit, and i dont have satellites i have bookshelfs so wtf are u talking about?? yeah im sure yours does sound better with a fucking sony lololol.. i promise, mine sounds better without a doubt.

  • @L00peey the polks are rated at 150 watts .. the amp is 100 per channel. Yeah the Sony's are junk, I'll replace them eventually- they still pack a punch. I rely on the polks to make up for all the tones the Sony's miss. If your no-name "Onkyo" rig is so awesome, why don't you post a video..

  • @L00peey the polks are rated at 150 watts .. the amp is 100 per channel. I know when my amp is pushing, these speakers are well matched. Yeah the Sony's are junk, I'll replace them eventually- they still pack a punch and the polks hit all the tones they miss. If your no-name "Onkyo" rig is so awesome, why don't you post a video hater

  • @polaris911 wtf is a vid gonna do? be serious.. how can they be "no-name" if they are called onkyo? there stuff is high quality bro, their products costs ALOT. learn a few things dumbass. like i said, they are almost bottoming out. there only bookshelfs, u wont get the best quality out of them if there doing alot of excursion.. why would i hate? my system is crisp clear.. LOL

  • @L00peey CALM DOWN fellas,, my shit will smash both of yours lol : ]

  • Song Name @ 1:10 ?

I Know its R.Kelly ft. Young Jeezy - Go Getta , but which Remix ? Is it from Drumma Boy ?

  • i love how the polk 5.25" has better excursion that the sony 7" (ish...am i correct?)

  • @MrCurdo yeah that's true. I can get some better excursion out of the Sonys when I'm not running 2 sets at once. The polks can move though, and they sound so much nicer than the cheap Sonys.

  • what is the frequency response, ohmage, rms and max power handling

    of those speakers?

  • I like polk but preferred the sony SSB-3000's I am goin g to get the SSF 5000 for my fronts!

  • @raymondleeleggs good choice. i like my 5000's

  • You have a good taste in speakers!

  • shitty logitech computer speakers? no, like you i use proper bookshelf speakers, even with my computer, although they are rather old, i think ill get models similar to those, they seem good although the polk audio monitor 60s are sweet!

  • haha I was speaking to the masses with the logitech comment :P These are the same woofers in the Monitor 60's, there's just two of them and it's a smaller cabinet. If I were going to buy speakers with cabinets that large, Id get speakers with larger woofers than 5.25".. unless you're going to get a sub, which kind of defeats the purpose of buying nice floorstanding speakers. Also, the Tsi-200s are identical to the Polk Monitor 40s- except with much nicer cherry cabinets and cost a little more

  • @polaris911 yeah i kinda figured, i get very annoyed when people think they have a nice sound system with one little 50 watt sub and tiny little crappy midranges. The reason I like the 60s is that they are cheap-ish and I love floor standing speakers. Partly because I just think they look cool and they are huge, but mainly because im very particular about speaker placement, and with them I can have both at the same height pretty much any were there is floor.

  • @Imprezaman555 I can understand that... the biggest problem with these polks is theyre on the floor. I need to find speaker stands for them.

  • @polaris911 I kinda figured. It does annoy me when someone think s a 2.1 computer speaker system with a 50 watt sub and cheapo 5 watt satellites counts as a good sound system. 50 watts is pretty loud but somehow they never manage to sound it, and they suck at high volume. And yes the bass would be better with other floor standing speakers, but they are in my budget and still pretty kick ass, and for my set up floor standing are the most practical. I was also thinking of building the speakers.

  • @polaris911 shitty logitech speakers my ass. i have a pair of sony ssf 5000's and a pair of boston hd5 bookshelfs (to back up the sony's) as my system. all gonna be hooked up to a yamaha rx-v665 im gettin very soon. check out my latest vid if u wanna see the setup

  • Rockz! How many watts?

  • pioneer sx 1010 ? 110 watts ? 1974 ?

  • @creedence25 correct.

  • hows the sound on those sony SS-B3000's?

  • Decent.. but nowhere near the polks. I only bought the Sonys because they were so cheap. If you can get the pair for < 100, I'd say go for it.
