What stephen moore just said happened when president Bush announced he would lift the presidential ban on drilling. Even before any drilling happened, oil prices dropped immediately.

adding more oil to the supply in several years won't lower the price. saudi arabia is adding 500,000 barrels by the end of this year and the price of oil went up.
