She was showing the audience this as examples....she hasn't put meat in her mouth since like 2005 and hasn't had any animal products since last october. Like once Reese Witherspoon brought a crock pot with her and it had meat inside and ellen found out that there was bacon so she just pretended to say that it was too hot to eat but it's really cuz she wanted to be respectful and not mention that she doesn't eat meat.
