  • un verdadero campeon.

  • wooow 23 years of age. Is sad just to think what it will happen before he got to 30. He had aready fight the best in his era. Most likely they where no be a Chavez, Ali, Robinson.

  • What could De La Hoya do with this kid?

  • Man I will never forget Salvador Sanchez.

  • REST.IN.PARADISE CHAMP!!!!

  • @makpak ill agree with u on louis..... But ill bet my lifes fortune on my boy chava!!!!! hnds dwn....y is everybody so contradictive with their comment on SAL??????? They agree he accomplished more than what boxers do now??? But still they say he died to young??????? In another medium thats like 2pac's situation... WAS HE NOT THE GREATEST RAPPER EVER????? Haha im trippn BUT..... When "THE" GREATEST featherwt. Comments "GLAD HE WASNT AROUND IN MY ERA" thats RESPECT IF ANYTHNG ELSE!!! REST.IN.P

  • COSELL WAS AN ASS!

  • @edgar92010 UUUUHHHH NO COMMENT!!!! HAHAHA EXCEPT THIS: CHAVA IS 1OF THE TOP 5 GREATEST BOXERS OF ALL TIME.... LIKE I SAID B4 HUSH UP ON THAT BULLSHIT!!! HAHA

  • sanchez was great. maybe the greatest latino fighter of all time. so wish he hadnt got in that car that day

  • @moonLion1000 I AGREE!!! I WANNA PUT HIM 1ST KUZ IM MEXICAN ALSO BUT I FEEL ITS LIKE THIS:

    1.sugar ray robinson

    2.SALVADOR SANCHEZ

    3.willie pep

    4.rocky marciano

    5.muhammad ali

ANYBODY G'HEAD & PICK UR 5 U THINK FUCKING WITH MY 5 & WE'LL COMMENT ON THIS SHIT!!!! HAHAHA

  • @TheFUTUREZHizTORY the #1 salvador sanchez you are estuped

  • @TheFUTUREZHizTORY id replace Salvador for Henry Armstrong and Rocky marciano with Joe louis.

as great Salvador was and God rest his soul, the poor man was gone to early. i guess his death stopped him from becoming something else. for a 23 year old he achieved what todays 95% of 23 year olds cant achieve. im 23 and im pretty much a piece of shit.

Rocky marciano, another great fighter. career speaks for itself. but Joe Louis was a bad mther****** in his day.

Todo in problema rasonado resuelto

  • Roy Jones Jr rated Salvador Sanchez the best boxer ever.

  • Rest . In . Paradise , , a legend , thumbs up if you agree

  • The light that burns twice as bright, burns half as long. Salvador Sanchez should be rated among the all time greatest featherweight champions of all time. Sanchez had it all, brains, speed, conditioning, heart, punching power and a great chin.

  • I get chills watching Sal stopping the great Asuma Nelsson in what would be his last fight before he passes away.Sal was the only man to KO out Nelson, not even the hard hitting Wilfredo Gomez or Pernell Whittaker were able to stop Nelson. They asked Nelson who was the best fighter that he faced in his career and he said it was Salvador Sanchez. (RIP) El gran Campeon.

  • This man was truly gifted. When champions die contenders cry, when a Legend dies champions cry, just like little Red did. This young man was loved and admired by all races not just mexican. Thats y he is THE GREAT SALVADOR SANCHEZ... May God have him in his glory

  • This man had it all. Unbelievable speed, skill and power! He was also a great spokesman for our beloved sport. He never relied on trash talk to try to intimidate his opponents. They were already worried because they saw what he had done to his previous opponents. Such a shame that a "fast car" ended his life. He was truly a living legend in those days! He was like the phoenix that rose from the flames. I'm sure his career inspired many of the great young Mexican boxers who made it after he did!

  • @krisnadarajah JC Chavez was one of them. Chavez said Sanchez was he's idol. He got the same trainer Cristobal Rosas, had the same training routine and train in Toluca, near Sanchez hometown.

  • could have been the greatest latin fighter of all time..but he already is one of the greats

  • that were a real battles and a real warrior,ss. not marketing like someones of today.

  • What a killer instinct! Sanchez could finish with the best of them!

  • R.I.P. one of the greatest boxers that there was who was taken too early and could've accomplished even more...

  • What a horrible loss. Sanchez was a great boxer and even a greater human being. Fuck Porsche.

  • @chefabian1 sanchez would have tore arguello to shreds in there primes, baby!!!!

  • ESTUPENDO, SAL SANCHEZ SENORES

  • stupid boring Jew

  • @theloya1965 Why don't you suck a dick, chump...?

  • This story can become a really good movie. Who agrees???

  • @PaisaPower310 I'm Agree!!! for sure!!!!

  • Mexican fighters are usually good "fajadores." Salvador Sánchez belonged to a different group. He was part of a elite. In those years, he was the king of style; a man who could be considered the best in the world, along Tommy Hearns and Alexis Arguello.

  • what a champ

  • THE GREAT SALVADOR SANCHEZ !!!

  • GREATEST MEXICAN FIGHTING MACHINE EVER! NEXT TO CHAVEZ!

  • I clearly remember that morning, I was in Guadalajara when the radio announcer awoke me with these tragic words " Salvador Sanchez the Featherwight Champion of the world has died as a result of a tragic car accident on the Queretaro-Mexico City Highway" It was around 6:00am. I got up and people on the streets were all shouting some crying."Chavo" loved fast cars. He was going 160 MPH on his Porche 911 lost control and was hit by a freight truck. He is the greatest Mexican fighter. RIP "chavo"

  • legend

  • don queen was a live at that time how old is that fuck with his jack up hair

  • Don King's slimy ass would be in the ring. As if he had anything to do with salvadors success

  • larga vida a salvador sanchez

  • @chunkyscotty HE HIZ ONE OF THE "GREATEST"... IF NOT" THE GREATEST "FEATHER/LIGHTWT. Etc.HAHA WHO KNWZ?.... BUT HE DID BEAT THE ZHIT OUTTA "CHAMPIONZ" TO BECOME "CHAMPION" SO THAT MEANZ "SUMTHNG"... TILL THIZ DAY THIZ CONVO. IZ IN DEBATE.... THE ONLY REAZON ITZ NOT CERTAIN KUZ OF THIZ BULLZHIT AZZ XISTENCE WE CALL LIFE... REZT. IN. PARADIZE. "CHAMP"!!!! MEXICA TIAHUI....

  • A great fighter, such a shame he died so young, at 23 he was probably not even in his prime, he could have been one of the greatest.

  • Sanchez would have outpointed Chavez in a very exciting and great fight because Sanchez threw faster combination punches and he could circle JCC and pick him apart at a distance. The only way Chavez could have beaten Sanchez is if he could punish Sanchez to the body and take away his legs then kill the head, but No Way Jose because Sanchez had tremendous stamina, chin and heart.

  • Sanchez is a crackin little fighter!

  • he could take a punch.

  • Sal Sachez is a Legend!

  • Had he gone up in weight to super feather and met JCC....

.....there'd be more blood than the Mexican Revolution.

  • Sanchez didnt do enough in his 23 yrs to be rated higher than Chavez, its possible he might have been greater but its also possible he would have did far worse, Chavez is undisputed no1 Mexican fighter ever, this isnt up for debate.

As for this guy crockasack that says SS would take out JCC in 3 rds... put down the crackpipe son, Chavez was a little bigger than Sanchez & was as tough as any fighter that lived, he likely beats Sanchez head 2 head.

  • @primemoralesno1 I dont agree. When Sal died he had just signed days before to face Arguello in Nov at 135lbs for the lightweight belt.Sadly it never happened and was Arguello's reason for moving up to 140.What if Sal didnt die and fought and beat Arguello.Chavez was undefeated at 30-0 and unknown even in Mexico when Sal passed.Camacho was 16-0 and had fought on ESPN a couple of times and telling anyone who would listen he could beat Sanchez and Pedroza.Lets say Sal is now the 135lbs Champ.

  • @primemoralesno1 Does Chavez or Camacho take the road they took or do they pursue Sanchez at lightweight.Chavez was taking fights between 118 & 135.Camacho was also fighting between 126 & 140.Both were still looking for an identity.Ray Mancini once said that if Sal had beat Arguello.Sanchez was going to defend against him first. You are right that Chavez should be rated higher because he obviously did more in a long career. But I think back then Sanchez was too much fighter for anyone coming up.

  • Sanchez was taken way to early... He is one of Mexico"-

  • Fuck man imagine sanchez vs chavez if they fought like between 1986-89. Chavez record like 60-0 and sanchez god knows what record he would have had maybe like 67-1 both in their primes. That fight would habe been historic. 80s was great now they have pussies that wont fight each other

  • @alexg3715 if Salvador were alive, chavez wouldnt exist

  • the way he would just break down his HOF opponents with those powerful punches from either hand and his ring generalship is just amazing ,R.I.P SANCHEZ ONE OF THE GREATEST

  • Salvador Sanchez is one of the best boxers Latin America has given to the sport. Well respected by his opponents, and one of them being Wilfredo Gomez who still visits his grave every year in Mexico. W. Gomez is a class act!

  • DAMN THIS VIDEO IS VERY TOUCHING AZUMA NELSON WAS A GREAT CHAMPION AND SO WAS WILFREDO GOMEZ 32 - 0 - 32 KO and for SALVADOR SANCHES to come and beat these guys tells alot of how great he was I BELIEVE HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER........R.I.P

  • todo un campeon descansa en paz champ

  • who he fuck disliked his video? i think it was gomez

  • @leo94710 hahahah i bet he was hahaha

  • Comment removed

  • sanchez was the 2nd all time great fighter 1st was robinson!!!!

  • Viva Mexico y viva sanches

  • WHEN I WAS A CHILD, SALVADOR SANCHES WAS MY IDOL,HOW EVER, WHEN I SEE THESE VIDEOS I THINK HE WIIL BE MY IDOL FOREVER.I AM VERY VERY PROUD TO BE MEXICAN, LIKE SALVADOR SANCHES.

  • Sal had that pokerface

  • For wha I hear, Don King had something to do with his death cause DK wanted him to fight for him,but SS refused.

  • talk about the PEEK of one career....WOW! to sad

  • @Finito2k chapo got ko/tko even by chavez ,gomez on the other hand was a diferent fighter but still never the less great champs........ just weren't enough for the two heroric warriors!!!!:)

  • So cool. Sanchez vs. Pacquiao would've been amazing.

  • @boxingpress

The only weight this fight could have taken place was at FW (126 lbs) because we never saw Sanchez at any other weight, we seen both guys at this weight & Sanchez would have bitch slapped Pacquiao at this weight.

I would only favour Willie Pep over Sancez at this weight, Saddler & Armstrong are 50/50 fights vs Sanchez... Pacman has no shot to beat Sanchez at featherweight, none.

  • SO SAD HE WAS ONLY 23 AND HE WAS ALREADY THE GREATEST IN THE SPORT.

  • @josemezatorrez there was no way gomez could have beat sanchez no matter how hard he trained!!!!

  • my dream is to become the best Mexican fighter but i dont think i can ever be as great as my idol and country man Salvador Sanchez who showed the world what we Mexicans are capable of when we r motivated.....thank you Chava every time i win is thanks to you......hope that when i die ill be able to me u....

  • rosio wasn't that good as a matter of fact!!!!

  • @salsancheznumber1fan Looks like you agree with boricananoish who also said that if Wilfredo Gomez had trained he would have whupped Salvador Sanchez. So Hows that for a matter of fact!!!! Funny comments on this vid.

  • @salsancheznumber1fan You're mistaken. Chapo was damn good. Easily one of the 10 best lightweights of all time. He earned his place in the hall of fame.

  • he could of been the best mexican fighter of alltime if he had a few more years but i think he is

  • Rosario over the hill? He was younger than Chavez when they battled in the ring,Rosario was born in 1963 and JCC in 62 and Chapo only had 1 loss when he got KO by Mexicano Jose Luis Ramirez in Puerto Rico. The best man won, give respect where its due,no what if,could have ,should have.

  • He might have dies in the eyes of the Mexicans but not in our hearts.....

The best Mexican boxer of all time and one of my idols..

  • @Elmatador525 I agree 100%

  • @Elmatador525 no to hate he was great julio cesar chavez is the greatest mexican fighter im not mexcan

  • @cainepittman2 salvador sanchez is the best mexican boxer!

  • @moonlion1000 julio cesar chavez is

  • @moonlion1000 Salvador sanchez the greatest mexican boxer of all time and in the top five of all time.

  • @moonlion1000 Agree with you

  • CHAVEZ COULD NOT COMPARE TO SALVADOR, MEXICANS SHOULD KNOW THAT...CHAVEZ BEST FIGHTS WE'RE AGAIN'ST OVER THE HILL FIGHTERS LIKE CAMACHO AND ROSARIO WHO TO BE HONEST WOULD HAVE WHOOPED HIM IN THEIR PRIMEON THE OTHER HAND SANCHEZ FOUGHT THE BEST AS GOMEZ LAPORTE AND NELSON

  • @BORINCANOish Camacho over the hill? Chavez was born in 1962 and Hector Camcho was born in 1962,wow he really was way over the hill jeje

  • @4272mana yes camacho and rosario we're both over the hill does not matter if both we're born same year, hector had more wars than chavez, rosario had all kinds of drug problems, in fact EDWIN ROSARIO IN HIS PRIME WOULD HAVE KO'D CHAVEZ, ENOUGH SAID...

  • @BORINCANOish JJa,I see you are very skillful at making up excuses,I dont giva a F$%& because your boy Rosario lost his undefeated record to a Mexican by the name of Jose Luis Rodriguez and it happened in your hometown of Puertoricoo by a painful KO Out!!

  • @BORINCANOish JJJJJaaaaa Camacho had more wars than Chavez? Are you kidding man. That dude camacho was a shameless runner and he was never a seek and destroy fighter like CHavez.. The only war that Camcho had was with his shoes, making sure his shoes did not wear out from all the running he did in the ring.

  • @BORINCANOish The only thing I will agree with you is that Salvador Sanchez(RIP)was a better fighter than Chavez and the rest we dont see eye to eye on.

  • @BORINCANOish shut the fuck up cuuh. sanchez woulda easily ko'd camacho" and chavez beat the fuck outta him at30 think about it may and pac are both still "great" they are in the mid 30s so obviously u dnt know what ur talking about

  • awsome tribute this guys was the best mexican fighter in the world ever.he would have took out chavez in 3 rounds.but i get upset when i hear people leave out barrera and jose luis castillo the marquez brothers when they talk about the elite that comes out of mexico even morales is in there them guys been in real wars.In my boxing heart and soul salvadore will always be the greatest.we love and miss you chavo.

  • @CROCKASACK we was great and at a very early stage of his carrer (he was 23), but saying that he could take chavez in 3 rounds is very passionate comment....you are saying that chavez was regular fighter....take a look at chavez carrer...cheers

  • @CROCKASACK i love the mexican fighters who worked their way up the hard way: marquez, manuel medina, castillo, sanchez, etc. chavez was carried, and padded, so i'm not a big fan of his, even though he was immensely talented. i'm biased to love marquez and barrera, because i grew up 5 minutes from the forum in inglewood and watched them come up.

  • este es el verdadero rocky mexicano

  • SIMPLY WONDERFUL EVEN AFTER ALL THIS TIME HE LOOKS BRILLIANT. A TRUE MEXICAN TREASURE

  • sal sanchez otra gloria deMEXICO q.e.d

  • @veritacha, check your boxing knowledge cause it seems you lack the true sense of the sweet science..chavez was overrated check his record of opponents, pure sorry b fighters. when he did fight caliber fighters he got the gift win or got his arse kicked. pernell whitaker was robbed of that fight versus chavez, golden boy kicked his arse,..either way i don king milked the chavez p.r. train but then again its a business but he could of fought other better fighters of his era.

  • @spanishrockla ur the foolish man overrated lol

  • @spanish rock You call the great Puerto Rican Chapo Rosario who hit harder than Alexis Arguello a b-fighter,or Roger Mayweather who almost KO out Pernell Whittaker a b-fighter too? Meldrick Taylor I guess in your boxing expertise was also a tomato can jjajaa you funny bro.

  • El Mejor Boxeador Mexicano....Best Mexican fighter of all time...Chavez was overrated and had a blown up record versus alot of cab drivers.

  • @spanishrockla haha no homeboy, you probably don't know much about boxing, to say that Chavez was overrated or fought cab drivers is a stupid statement! Most Mexicans will tell you that Chavez and Sanchez are the best Mexican fighter since they both represent MEXICO.

  • He will stay a champion for the rest of eternity. God loved him more than the rest and wanted a front row seat to see him fight in heaven.

  • He would have been Mexico's greatest fighter above chavez if he had not died at 23. Period

  • Some boxers such as Money Mayweather have superb defense.

Other boxers such as Pacman have superb offense.

Very few boxers possess BOTH superb defense and superb offense.

    Salvador was one such boxer.

  • BEST EVER MEXICO HAD AS PRO BOXER.....

  • there's no one out there that can replace SANCHEZ.... BEST EVER MADE... R.I.P

  • chava would drop erik in 2!!!!

  • Hey great site for these fights as career sets on dvd and much much more.

    w w w . b o x i n g c a r e e r d v d s. c o m

  • lo mataron

  • @betty801v no mames guey jajaja

  • @thechoice264 i ment just about ko/tko!!!!!

  • chavez woould have been so game by 7 rounds with sanchez!!!!

  • @salsancheznumber1fan Meaning what?

  • His death was a great , great.. tragedy...he should always be remembered as one of the greatest.....one of the thoughest...one of the finest boxers of all times.

  • lol donking is in the last fight

  • love you salvador sanchez a legend rest in peace

  • Damn this guy was good!! Someone please make a movie about his life.

  • This man was probably the greatest lightweight fighter of the modern era. He could punch, move, box, evade and use brilliant ringsmanship to defeat his opponents. We have to remember the class of the fighters he defeated - Lopez, LaPorte, Gomez, Nelson

ALL excellent champions themselves.. I agree with Pandapan. A film SHOULD be made of his life. An inspiration to all.

  • he couldve moved up in weight like manny did he was 5'7" and manny is 5'6"...damn he couldve done what pacman did way before pacman set the belt record

  • @d0ct0rsweet well he is still better than pac

  • Ese wey era la verga

  • cool affro brah

  • i strongly belive sal would have made duran quite............... lets face it sanchez was like pacman on steroids or a prime de la hoya on steroids!!!

  • @salsancheznumber1fan no way, would have love to see the fight though

  • I don't think Sanchez would have made Duran "quit." Let's face it, Sanchez's style is not the same as Leonard's. While Sugar Ray went back to what worked for him best in his second fight with Duran-and that was box and stay away, Sanchez would have preferred to stand toe to toe with Duran. The winner? Let's not forget that at the time of Sanchez's death, he was in a different weight class from Duran. Now, if they were in the same weight division, it would be hard to go against Sanchez!

  • @Jorge4402 Or hard to go against Duran. And yes at this time Duran was fighting at 147.

  • we will never know just how good this guy could have been.

  • @vanderpant2116 Yes we did. He was the real deal. Trust me

  • Damn Sal we miss you so much!

  • this is a great video !

  • I wish he was around today to claim back boxing to the mexican people.

  • @rockyxbby He was good wasn't he?....Don't worry, new talents from Mexico are slowly but shurly cooking right now. In two or three more years will see....

  • sanchez would diesect pacman!!!!
