this is not the way to make a margarita... first of all the mix... fresh limes are mandatory... what you use before putting the salt looks like a lemon and not a lime. lime is green. you should not put the salt all around the glass but only the half of it or 3/4 of it... cointreau would be also appropriate... and a boston shaker is not the best... and finally it looks really awful, it's fluorescent... thanx to that mix of yours. you can say it's faster but even busy bars do it the right way

OK - I'm not saying mine is best - and the ratios can be altered to taste.

BUT - here are a few pointers.

1 When you rim the glass, use a lime to remove the salt from the inner side, so it doesn't fall into the drink and taint it.

2 Use good quality 100% agave Blanco or Reposado tequila.

3 Use freshly squeezed lime juice and caster sugar/sugar syrup

4 Shake the HELL out of it for a short time with lots of ice.

5 DOUBLE strain with a fine strainer as well as the one he uses.

6 Enjoy!
