I'm sure the hummingbird just found itself stuck in his garage. If the bird felt threatened it wouldn't have rested on his hand like that. And, of course the guy only kept him in the garage to make this quick one minute video. He obviously released it after.
Noooo no no you can not humming birds "ALL species" are protected they are "Federaly Protected" under many bird and wildlife protection laws. what he's doing in this video is illegal and could result in prison time it is a felony to posess,harass,injure or kill these birds and becuase they are on your property does not mean they are yours to keep next time do some research before firing off answers.
