When you play a Mario game, what you are seeing is something in super slow motion. Mario and Co. are actually moving so fast, the cameras are slowed down so you can tell what's going on...When you play a Sonic game, they're normal...This is just a hypothesis :D

@capsevest No, I said I LIKE Nintendo better than Sega. But that's because I grew up with Nintendo and I don't know much 'bout Sega. But later I became obsessed with Sonic. (Not Sonic the Hedgehog specifically. Tails is my fave.) I never really learned much about Mario so I'm biased to Sonic but Nintendo (in general) will always hold a special place in my heart, ever since my childhood.

Sonic's got speed, sure, but if he got close to Knux, the echidna's punches are MORE than a match for ol' Blue Blur's spin-dashes. Not that it wouldn't be a great fight! But I doubt Sonic's ability to really hurt Knux.

Besides, Knux knocked the super-form off Sonic in Sonic 3. He's the only one to have ever done that.

@sonic4697 Well, Sega's been pretty inconsistent about its characters' abilities, honestly. And in a game franchise you ultimately win with whoever you play as. But I still say that Knux is all around the most balanced fighter. It's just hard for me to imagine Sonic being able to really hurt him. Besides, Shadow was beaten by E-123 Omega in the future, according to Sonic '06. I know the game sucked, but Knux is Omega's equal. Maybe not quite as powerful or tough, but real close. And way faster.
