  • That my friends, is what u call a carry

  • Low-Def is the new black & white.

  • @duffmanbegins ha ha

  • Was this recorded with a shoe? ... kidding, cool move ;)

  • C-ccc-carry!

  • I like how the two top comments are the two most overused comments on youtube, lol..

  • I kinda wanna see what was the play of the game before.

  • Which pixel was Bibby?

  • Rafer Alston did the same but they called travel....

  • Top 2 comments are so stereotypical of a Basketball video that is bad quality

  • It's like they were playing inside an aquarium filled with gasoline..

  • and then Mike Bibby takes Jason's spot on the Kings

  • Did you record this on a fax machine?

  • If I had a nickel for every pixel in this vid, I'd owe someone a nickel.

  • @upabittoolate clever

  • that was theee sweetest fake i've ever seen!

  • Beast

  • did you record this with a potatoe

  • @itZjstPotna

did you copy that comment from youtube?

  • @itZjstPotna no it was recorded with a calculator

  • Did you record this with a camera?

  • @thabestballer24 It was uploaded 4 years ago... most videos were like this. You and I are too used to HD videos now haha

  • Did you film this with yet another tedious comment about how bad the quality of this video is?

  • what pixel is Jason Williams?

  • its hard to tell was that traveling? what did he do exactly

  • Bibby > Williams

  • @BossKnowell

Williams way more entertaining to watch than Bibby~

  • @nismotech What the fuck did you say? Prime Bibby was probably the most entertaining player from 01' to 06' along with Kobe

  • @scheming95 haha are you for real? bibby was nowhere near as entertaining as jwill. putting bibby in the same sentence as kobe in relation to entertainment is humorous

  • @scheming95 wow relaly? lol...not iverson, lebron, mcgrady carter etc?? 01-06 is a long time. bibby had a couple good seasons but nothing that crazy

  • if you look closely Lebron traveled.

  • @platnium1811 fuck youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • @platnium1811 if you look closely Lebron isn't here.

  • @platnium1811 if you look closely, there is a dumbass who thinks hes funny because he copies the comment on basically every other nba related video on youtube

  • It woulda been a carry or travel in todays officiating

  • thats not a travel nor a carry becuase he jumped then before he landed he dribbled so its legal just dont try it becuase you need to master it.

  • this guy reminded me of the tazmanina devil. he was a ball of fury, all over the place. never knew what he was going to do. he did shit where by the time the refs realized he traveled, he was already back pedaling up court. one of my favorite ballers.

  • that pixel jumping was sick!

  • @Livinglifehigh LOL bahahaha

  • Not a travel... but a TOTAL carry.

  • thumbs up if you think this was an epic TRAVEL

  • IF YOU DONT LIKE THAT YOU DONT LIKE KINGS BASKETBALL!!!

  • What made it even better is that Bibby basically quit and gave up on that one.

  • the reason why it was a no called travel, carry, or other violation is because that crooked referee, Mr Donaghy, was the head referee that night, I'm sure Jwill bribe him for some cereal, cookies, and Mickey D in return.

  • thumbs up if think all these pixel jokes are fucking ANNOYING

  • @Pk3llz amen

  • Thats my move. I invented that back in high school 1994!

  • Wasn't a travel, he dribbled again right as he landed with his feet. And that was sure as hell not a carry over

  • CARRY

  • did you film this with a microwave?

  • @Rajnumber11 no he didnt dick its called a camera

  • John Stockton traveled on this play.

  • thumbs up if u think williams-bibby trade was ridiculous :(

  • that's incredible.

  • shit, when the nba was much more enjoyable.

  • I could barely see this shit

  • @SquishyCandyftw Thats how all tv looked back in '98 hahaah

  • its not carry or travel becuz he dribbled jumped in the air did a hop step if it was any violation it wuz double dribble becuz he dribbled once then jumped in the air land back on his feet & dribble one more time before he shot it

  • @dat078912reppa yep, ur right. it's a discontinuation call. refs shoulda called it but oh well

  • This was WAY before refs started calling EVERYTHING

  • It was a violation. Whether it was a carry or travel I'm not sure, but it was a violation. But that was years ago. And it was stil a nice move...White Chocolate still has handles..

  • that iss soooo not a travellll ! nigguhs stupid for saying thats a travel ; not a true balller

  • you do the same thing in a hesitation move idk why that would be a travel. but yea even if it was a travel the fact that it takes this much debate explains why the refs would have had no wtf just happened

  • back then this was not a travel, now days it is a travel....they watch the carry a lot more now days......that and if you touch a guy its a foul....

  • I've watched, and played against some of the best talent in the Oakland Bay Area, and I wouldn't know what to call in that instant either; If I was a Ref. So you go with no call and go back the other way. The Refs did the right thing. Like they do most of the time.

  • not a carry, it's a travel. he jumps in the air and fakes a pass: all legal. the problem occurs when he comes down with the ball and takes one dribble: travelling. if he had jumped, faked the pass, and come down with two feet set, without the dribble, it would have all been legal. you can jump in the air and skip as much as you want, as long as you maintain your dribble, but if you stop your dribble, jump, and then resume dribbling when you hit the ground, that's travelling.

  • which pixxel is jason williams there? lol

  • @thunderstruck103085 the white one.

  • Hello! This is older than 10 years. It's actually a famous "Pistol" Pete Maravich move from back in the '70's

  • wtf? refrees not calling that? Both legs went up and came down and the ball was still in his hands.

  • wow, that was some HD quality

  • Travel.

But they let LeBron get away with much worse.. so why would they call this?

  • refs in real basketball - not the ridicolous nba circus- would've called that a serious TRAVEL

  • travelling?

  • Jwill is sick...has tons of talent just didnt get the breaks that jkidd and nash did. Glad to see hes on a good team in orlando

  • Little did they both know a couple of years later they'd be traded for eachother.

  • A carry now-a-days, but still VERY VERY VERY SICK

  • thts illegal now tho

  • where did this guys career go? Oh that's right, no where.

  • @JayCid

I am sure his basketball career is better than yours will ever will be.

  • @JayCid Gotta agree with you on that one. He had flash and ball handling skills, but everything else was sorely lacking.

  • @viralthings i disagree.he was a great pot smoker.

  • Lol people saying that it's a carry don't know their basketball at all.

  • for ppl saying its a carry. do you know that every step you make while running is a small jump (when none of your foot touches the ground)? he just do a bigger jump, that's all.

  • @voodoo411 it's called palming the ball...travel.

  • this is not illegal at all he just jumps mid dribble but he is still dribbling and his hand is completely on top of the ball. There's no rule that says you cant jump while you are dribbling. You just can't stop dribbling jump and then dribble again. Perfectly legal play.

  • @JordanP2690 Try to fake a behind the back pass when your hand is on top of the ball.. In NBA it's allowed but in europe this play will always be called as travelling

  • @JordanP2690 dude you must me dumb

  • not a carry. his hand is on top of the ball and he was already dribbling when he jumped. if he hadnt dribbled yet, jumped up in the air then started dribbling it would have been a travel. but this is legal. and he doesnt carry, alot compared to most players. his hand is almost always on the top of hte ball.. but he does palm the ball while dribbling at times. again not a carry... thats a double dribble. best ballhandler in the nba.. ever

  • it is a carry cause after he jumped he dribbled it aqain..if after da jump he went straight into his shot without the dribble it wouldnt hav been a carry

  • looks like a carry to me... he did dribble the ball again after he did his move ~_~

  • It's called Jumpstep...

    check the rules,

    it's legal

    and that's what Jason did

  • You are an idiot. That was a carry. Jason Williams is awesome, but he got away with a carry there. And he did/does carry often, sometimes he gets away with more than others...

  • that's not a carry. his hand is on top of the ball the entire time. he uses the inertia of the ball to do that. that's a legal move...

  • That's one hell of a crab dribble Oo'.

Should be called canguru dribble. :D

  • people dont you know thats a crab dribble your "american icon"(notice my sarcasm) lebron james does it all the time...

  • Uhh...no it isn't. It's a fun play that got the crowd excited in an exhibition play.

  • go shit in a hole in the ground you whiny eurotrash piece of shit

  • travel--like that old pistol pete behind the back self-pass they always show. neither should show up on highlight reels.

  • i dont understand

you cant just jump and start dribbling again. and how could he have held it that long, while in flight without jumping?

if he had just landed and popped without dribbling or pivoting you could call it a big hop step but god damn what the hell was that

  • he jumped in the air refs and came back down, do your job

  • Hey!!!!! I think i invented that move, i use to do that same move back in High School.

  • he didn't dribble the ball again it cannot be counted as carry.

  • Sick nasty move but it was a carry because he changed the way the ball was headed in the air and then dribbled again. No travel because he was dribbling the ball. You can jump as many times as you freaking want so long as you are dribbling the ball haha.

  • really ppl wat does it matter. it was 10 years ago. and anyway how do you call sumtin like that. no one knows what the hell that was. he jumps and fakes a pass behind the back, puts the ball back on the floor, then takes his two steps. refs arent gonna stop the game to figure out wat just happened and do instant replay.

  • You're right, the refs were probably like "That was too fucking sick either way"

  • @ButtaScotchBoy Hell yeah! That was like an Isiah Thomas type move.

  • @ButtaScotchBoy That was nothing he stole that move from THE AND1 STREET BALLERS

  • @dal4018 and the street ballers stole that move from Pete Maravich. He invented that pass and was doing it in the 60's @LSU.

  • @JayBiggz that means it aint a travel!!!

  • Most of his moves he copied from the And1 Street Ballers he said he watched them whenever he's on the road. Its on Mix Tape vol.7

  • Comment removed

  • dog.. your dillusional.. He carried. His hand did not stay above the ball, he damn near did a fake behind the back pass and then brought it back to his front. No not becuase he jumped, u can do that but he still carried like a motherfucker.. I'm cool with it not being called and it was a sick move but he would have had no argument if they called carry. Refs call carry for far less than that.

  • dog.. lol his hand did not stay on top of the ball.. He put the ball half way behind his back and then brought it back.. your dillusional.. It's carryin.. not cuz he jumped but becuz he damn near faked a behind the back pass mid dribble.. It was clearly sick either was and its cool with me hhe got away with it. We all try moves like that sometimes but if the ref woulda called carry there would be no argument.. They call carry for waaaaaaaay less than that

  • hes not traveling.... he did a jump step aka pro hop..... then took a 3 pointer.

  • @ramli700

yeah but after a prohop, you're not supposed to dribble. either way, it was sick. Pull up jays are hard. alot of people underestimate it.

  • Most of the comments on here are put here by idiots. Just because he jumped, it makes it a dribbling violation (I am not going to get into the traveling/carrying argument with you twits)? His hand stayed on top of the ball the whole time. Sorry if his skills make your little brain hurt but that was perfectly legal.

  • it is a travel because if you take a jump stop which it is you can't take any other steps because you don't have a pivot foot and he took another step

  • LOL....who cares...he is washing cars now...soon to be in bankruptcy court next to Spreewell, Caffey or maybe prison like Blount.

  • That wasn't a travel. Now, he might get called for a carry but I think the refs would count it as a hop step

  • Lol, how is it a travel? He picks the ball up in mid-air, which allows him to take 2 steps more. + The fact that as long as the NBA refs see a amazing play coming up, they wont call a travel, carrying or anything except a foul on the D

  • Why on earth would that be traveling? You can jump and dribble at the same time...

  • not travelling. after he fake the pass while in the air he did a dribble. look carefully~~

  • even the ref was like what the fuck. i bet j williams also thought about how got away with it.

  • travel!

  • lmao you guys are retards if u say that's travelling, clearly he didnt even take two steps with the ball....its called CARRYING, and that was barely even a carry

  • aint that a travel, i play ball that look like a travel

Great move but its a travel

  • It's more like a double or carry. He took another bounce at the end and only took 1 step before shooting. But I'm not sure the faking part should be considered as holding the ball.

  • greatest. travelling. ever.

  • now THATS a crab dribble

  • I hope your kidding.

  • THAT'S TRAVELING

  • Jumping without releasing the ball isn't a travel if the person dribbles first. Ever heard of the "hop step?"

  • that is that shitty ass ghetto ball AND1 bullshit, what the fuck was he thinking bringing that shit where the big boys play.

  • He was hitting a j in Bibby's face is what he was thinking? What are you anyway; like some disgraced ABA player?

  • he was thinking that he'd show bibbys dumb ass up

  • last I checked jumping in the air and not releasing the ball was travling....no doubt though...one of the best passers in the game ever...

  • Not if you have your hand on top of the ball.

  • rip jwill

  • what?

  • he means that jwill's career is dead and over

  • if he was playing for the clippers he would be there leading scorer

  • travelling

  • he maintained his dribble the question is a carry... which brings up another point what (by deffinition) is a caryy in basketball... hard to tell in this era of the nba

  • he became a crack head, thats why.

  • j-will is a beast idk why he retired

  • because he's garbage now

  • that was a HUGE carry. but if i was thet ref i wouldnt have stopped that play cause i would be mesmerized.

  • r u fucking retarded u dipshit. dont say shit if u dunno anything about the rules. he didnt dribble after he did that so its not a carry.

  • he did dribble after... dipshit

  • these were the days

  • how is that legal? isnt that a carry?

  • Jason Williams is so under rated and needed to retire because of his knees other than that he would had a great season this year

  • why did he retire so early, and he did win a championship with the heat paydog, thats not a wimper to me

  • I guess I would retire before becoming a Clipper too,

  • clips signed him , but decided to call it quits , knee was fucked up. great player

  • these two had one of the best pg rivalries ive ever witnessed

  • travel..hop step + more dribbling

carry.. carried it while in the air. if he didn't dribble again and it was a legit hop step, then no carry

  • White Chocolate has retired people! His NBA career is sadly over and he didn't go out with a bang. He went out with a long, drawn out whimper

  • he won a championship two years before he retired, i dont call that a wimper

  • yea, two years before he retired? What did he do during his final two seasons? heck, he wasn't even a big contributor to the Heat's championship run.

  • why did you post this vid if you hate him so much? he averaged 12.3 points and 5 assists during 05-06, thats pretty good

  • I heard that he was playing with very severe tendonitis in his knees his last few years, especially during his run with the Heat. If you see his "Inside the Heat" interview, he states basketball is just a job to him and that it's just a game, and he'd rather spend time with his family which (he has two young sons growing up), I would assume, played a large part in his decision to retire. Williams also had a stellar playoff/finals run during the 05-06 season in which they won the championship.

  • so being the starting pointguard for a championship team is not a big contributor....

  • @paydog23 a starting pg on a championship team isnt a big contributor? You must be watching a different kind of basketball

  • @xiequfei Three reasons Miami won that championship

    1)Dwayne Wade

    2)Pat Riley

    3)Shaquille O'Neal

    4)Mavs choked

  • @paydog23 dude thats four

  • @paydog23 wrong there was only two reasons y the heat beat the mavs D Wade & ZO pat riley did nothin shaq watched and the mavs just couldnt stop dwade i dont think they choked

  • @paydog23 3) Alonzo Mourning, shaq's punk ass was on the bench

  • @paydog23

    1) d-wade

    2) mavs choked

    3) heat finaly had a capable point guard (remember damon jones a year earlier) jwill needs some credit

  • @paydog23 i think choked is 1 at the least 2

  • @paydog23 you clown. J.will was a contributer. they literally had no other point guard. damon jones had left so they didnt have no one. J.will was makin quick plays for everyone. even wade.

  • @paydog23 dude the mavs always choke

  • @paydog23 i also hope you know paydog23 hes on the orlando magic as the starting point guard... and yes the magic are 1 of the BIG DOGS in the east so..

  • yea its sad tha probably tha flashiest player iz gone

  • He could have left some more memories with us.And the Heat are gonna have their especially with Wade entering his prime and Michael Beasely coming in.

  • white choclate!

  • If he got away with it, all the cooler

  • Ah, the good ol' days of JWill with his sick no look passes, and his ''50 foot'' missed 3 pointers and his ''100'' turnovers per game...

  • well if u do that in european basketball u will look like a jerk who's nver played before this sport.

  • true, true, true.ekana kai ego tetoia stin ellada, alla to apotelesma itan na me petaxei sto pago o coach..parolo pou oi pases den eitan lathos...haha
