I'm loving this Axel.I'm planning on making him and Madame Red from Black Butler by May but I have yet to start. I'm curious as to where to buy a wig, I'm checking a halloween store this weekend. Anyway, I love the Axel you came up with, it's genius!

For the spikes on your axel wig use a clear caulking for it. I use it for mine and it works.

I really love that wig, even if it is dying! (Kinda suits the theme more, in my opinion.) I LOVE that top, and all its little perfect imperfections! Nicely done! Though, the thought of putting elmers glue on my head makes me shudder...I would have used Spirit Glue myself.

About the costume;

To be frank. You look more like Hellgirl than Axel. But don't get me wrong, I am not taking it to negitive town, Cuz I like both characters and the Axel verson 2.0 is hell'a'bent from my perspective.

I bought a bright red wig, then used permanent markers to hand dye the roots. I could have done a better job, though, I think. And I really had no idea what I was doing when I was styling my wig, so don't put too much stock in my abilities there, lol.

That's awesome. And elmers glue is the best, my sister used it when she cosplayed captain jack sparrow. I have a friend whos gonna be axel for our group, and I'm gonna have to help her with the make-up and the wig. and everything else, cause none of my friends know how to do that, which kinda sucks for me.

Got2B is still great, but to make sure your spikes work, just put a hairdryer on low heat or cool if possible so for it to set quicker. That should work better than just spraying it. Cause it's just like hair get on regular hair. It won't stay up unless you hold it up forever or use heat. :3 Hope I was some help.

Also, Maybe you can find some bonding solution for your horns at a costume shop or online for makeup FX or something so you won't have to deal with Elmers. D: Sorry if I sound bossy.

hmmm...idk if you have already known about this but for MY Axel wig I used got2b glued Hair spiking glue. (you can find it in any drug store in the hair products isle) aaand tresseme' extra hold freez spray. (can find it cheaper in a drug store along with the hair glue) hope it helps! Got it Memorized?

Wow, very nice Axel cosplay! So much creativity, and you look great. As for your wig problem Got2BGlue is the one of the best hairsprays to use for styling wigs such as Kingdom Hearts hair. Unless the stores near you do not sell that product... Then I am not really sure what to recommend maybe Finesse hairspray? xD
