The scat soloist sounds a LOT like Kurt Elling who in my humble opinion i is the best jazz singer living today. I overheard this song on an album and I had to check it out. Ensemble sounds good. Ever so slightly noisy, but that can be effected by equipment.

Every time I watch this -- and I've watched it a few times -- somebody else grabs my ears and won't let go, whether it's the ladies soloing, sister beat box or the big man goin' all Mel Torme ... just wow! What an amazingly talented group and arranger. This was always my favorite Ben Folds song, and for years I wondered why no one covered it. Now I know. So that it would be left to the only group who could truly do it justice.
