I'm really wondering about this unicorn thing... people referring to them as if they're real... like, wtf? lol, I had a friend sit there and search for one on craigslist for about an hour... am I missing something?
Cute rap! You two are adorable. Hang in there, you'll find your place in religion. And also, I'm sure your mom will come around one day. The worst part is over now, you came out. Now you just wait for one of two things to occur; she'll come around, or she'll never change. Either way, she's still in your life. It could be worse! But I wish for the best for you and the trials you're going through. Kudos to you for being strong.
i got bored watching another video so i'm watching this one again. totally my fave. and i'm not biased at all, as one of your best friends/pseudoexes.
That was fantabulous. - new word for the vocabulary. Also suffer 'faux gay' confusion with girls around here. Also think your musical talent should be a regular feature. Yo. (And your friend seems totally cool. :)) and cute. :)
Oh my god, that rap is amazing! XD Here in Holland, people don't really mind that you're gay, except of course the homophobes and the much older generation.
Well in the US it depends on where you are even within your own state. My hometown is only 330 miles away from where I currently live but it might as well be another galaxy politically speaking.
It's really not THAT bad here...America's whole current existence is steeped in reneging on its founding values. We've become all the countries we were trying to separate ourselves from and while they progress socially we are stagnant because we are too ignorant to learn from their past mistakes
that was an awesome video! . and i can def relate.. grew up in jersey where i could be out n crazy all the time.. and now i'm in sc! it's insane the culture difference.. it's like i'm out.. even my bosses know but i jus can be so open bout it all the time =( .. o and i loved the rap =)
your straight girl impression made me laugh so hard. i hate girls that 'dress gay' its the whole scene chick thing, which is totaly my type, but they are are straight...sucks.
and your rap was the funniest thing ive ever heard, kudos.
yea in SF I know one lesbian rabbi and a few queer friendly temples, its just that when I was living at home I wasnt ready to accept that my sexuality was permanent because it had been drilled into my head that Im going to get over it one day and feel bad about labeling myself
One of my friends here at College says the same thing about how she was extremely out in her home town(near Chicago), but here she did become more introverted and not so out about it.

WHat are you converting to? And why?
3vil1 3 years ago
what: for over a decade ive been in the [self imposed] tortoise paced process of converting to judaism
why: a discussion i'd be more than happy to get into if you message me but there's totally not enough room here to elaborate on it.

I feel like I have said this far too often, but I am so glad that I don't live in the US. All the hypocrisy would probably do me in.
