Oh my gosh thank you SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! My iPod spazzed cuz I accidently deleted something in iFile -__- and it got stuck on the apple logo, then the pineapple logo in Redsn0w, and THEN restore mode when I was trying to restore!!! I tried a ton of stuff and this was the only thing that fixed it. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I would donate but ya know... I have no money... LoL :) Thanks again!

HiI have Jailbroken 3gs with Redsn0w. . It got stuck in a weird cycle, So then I panicked and did a restore via Itunes But apple restore was not successful. So then using redsn0w again I then did a custom install (Shift) itunes and located the NO_BB restore package.install said it was successful, but stuck in blank restore mode. Blank screen, not even when you push home and power button for 10 seconds.

Since tried via iRecovery but says:

No iPhone/iPod found.

Itunes has detected an ipod in recovery mode. you must restore ipod before it can be used in itunes. THATS WHAT IT KEEPS SAYING! The thing with my iPod touch 4g is that I don't even think the jailbreak was completed, and now my iPod is stuck on the "connect to iTunes" screen, no matter how many times I turn it on or off or try to reset it. Thank you. My iPod touch had been stuck in a recovery loop for 5 days. Unable to update cause it was in recovery, unable to recover without updating? Anyways, this whole thing worked with windows. had to download iRecovery and the libusb program, then changing libusb to compatibility as win xp sp2 and running as Admin. After that it's as simple as running CMD, desktop, then typing iRecovery -s to start it, then following the same commands as you gave them. Rebooted and it's all perfectly fine =D

@erikonem You need to get Libsub for windows first. Open its properties-> compatibility-> and set it to run in windows xp sp2. Then run the program as admin. after you do that, you should be able to open irecovery in CMD and it should find your device.

Another quick and simple mode to do it, is with tiny umbrella; Download the newest version, run as admin, if you see exit recovery mode, click it, if not click fix recovery... wait for a while, keep phone connected, screen will go white, and you will see the apple logo, make sure phone is connected all times and yeah thats about it, it worked for me.... thumbs up, it might help others :)
