I'm somewhat amazed that you don't quite get how BB's powers work.

BB's powers let him nullify other DF users' powers if he's in contact with them. He doesn't use a vortex thing to absorb the attacks, as shown with Ace throwing two pikes of fire through his chest. Haki also doesn't matter when hitting him, since anyone within range can do that. For now, anyways.

Also, you neglected to mention that Whitebeard was LITERALLY RED WITH ANGER. AND LITERALY STEAMING MAD, TOO.

He says darkness absorbs everything but absorb them where? BB's power can't be explained now and the fact that he covered WB's body when he took his power raises even more questions. Standing even after death is possible, especially in a battle such as war. The adrenaline in the body increase the rate at which rigor mortis kicks in. It's not surprising because Whitebeard was inspired by Benkai. A former warrior monk in Japan died standing after being shot with arrows in the midst of a battle. Benkai did it while aiding in the escape of a friend. If you google Saitō Musashibō Benkei you can find more info on the guy. Last thing written on his wiki includes One Piece haha.

I think there is an error in this episode Blackbeard says that he got his devil fruit power from killing Thach (or however you spell his name) but he found it early in the anime and in the manga. I don't but i thought that was interesting .

Just so you know, even though Blackbeard is a Logia, he's unable to deform himself into darkness.

Instead, his ability sucks in everything, including damage which means that he takes more damage than one normally would from an attack.
