el video no está speed up, hablan rapido por que tienen un tiempo limite, aún así no creo que hablen muy rápido, alomejor están acostumbrados de que en la versión original hablan más despacio. esta bien que le pongan eso a los niños, a mi pancho me cae muy bien.

They had to speak faster since this was an interstitial for Televisa's Canal 5 (the network that's currently airing Plaza Sésamo), and they couldn't exceed a certain ammount of given time (45 seconds or so). This one was sandwiched betweeen commercials.

I'd like to see more Plaza Sésamo vids on this channel =3

Because of the date it is very likely they aired it during the swine flu outbreak. Honestly I can't remember, I spent most of my time watching movies on cable.

Funny how in the American version they all seem to focus on speaking clearly and slowly. Not so in the Spanish speaking version I guess.

I just asked a friend about this, and he just told me there's no direct mention of Swine Flu in the song. Just a 'keep clean' thing, no doubt circulating on Mexican stations in response to the Swine Flu.
