  • if instead of a bass i played guitar i would want this so bad :O

  • Not really a looker IMO but damn does it sound fine

  • This is one fiiiiine instrument.

  • I have this guitar. Love everything except the pickups. I want both Humbucking and Single coil sounds and this guitar does not deliver on single coil sounds.

  • he always has such great distortion its crazy!!!

  • I got one and it's absolutely the best guitar in my arsenal. Just love it.

  • @TheMETALODYSSEY doesnt it have the same neck as the reflex? I heard they are almost telecaster feeling.

  • Is this guitar a copy of the EVH Wolfgang?

  • @Backspacer12 not even close.

MM EVH came first, then came MM Axis, then Peavey Wolfgang, then EVH wolfgang. The peavey is the best instrument.

This guitar isnt the same thing. It looks SIMILAR, but its not quite the same thing, its better in every possible way. Its absolutely SUPREME in every fashion.

  • nice presentation sir

    .

  • Sweet.. Last thing the world needs is another $2000 guitar.

  • I always thought that any pickup can't produce the tones in my head but now I see that it never was about pickups themselves but about their wirings...I have to install a series/parallel switch on every guitar from now on!

  • UGH YESSSSS MUSICMAN IS SO GOOD!!!!!!

  • ill sell my house and buy one!

  • he acts like a normal person can afford a guitar like this...

  • @guitargeek616 Well, if you are a professional musician this guitar is actually a solid deal for what you get. Personally if I was looking for a top of the line guitar this would be one that I would definitely consider. Plus a lot of people spend a lot of extra cash on items that won't last them for that long - this could last your whole life if kept in good shape. But I do agree though, this guitar is up there in price but you get what you pay for I have found with instruments

  • why are you playing in a back alley? hobos can't afford to play guitar silly...

  • -fap fap fap-

    what? i like guitars...

  • Usually this guy kinda sucks, but he sounds pretty good here. that little solo he ripped was uber badass

  • that guitar is so shiny and new!!!! O_O, you have the best job ever!!!!

  • A nice *little* tone (EPIC SOLO) See, not bad huh? I think he can review that rockband3 piece of shit Squier and make it sound like an amazing guitar xD I agree R2319

  • is it me or this guy is gay

  • @bhskryadav It's just you.

  • @bhskryadav Nah, Its just you.

  • @bhskryadav who cares about if his gay or not, the most important thing is that he's doing awesome reviews, get a life!!!!

  • omg this is the best guitar ive seen yet...

  • playing a silhouette special and happy, awesome sound. not to be utilized for drop c shred, though ;)

  • SOOOOOOOO SHINY! but seriously i got lucky enough to play one of these in guitar center one day, PRS watch out! i wish i had money T.T and that i was a good player to really hear what it could do....

  • i dont see why everyone gives this guy shit, i havent seen a bad video from him yet

  • Amazing guitar and sound and Paul's never sounded better too!

  • This guitar has more in common with the Axis than the Silhouette.

  • If anyone says that bolt-on necks suck then they can go to hell XD

  • I'd love to see this guy do a 'betcha cant play this' video

  • Isn't this part of the Axis models?

  • @XiaNingTian , no it's the 25th anniversary model, no longer in production because it was a limited production model from the start. However, there is now a Reflex line of model in production which incorporates the 25th ann. body.

  • @maciekfingerstyle I know that. It just looks like it's an Axis model to me.

  • @XiaNingTian actually its quite different: body shape, switching, neck profile...

  • @maciekfingerstyle slight differences. Meh, they both are great guitars anyway.

  • @XiaNingTian yeah, both are great but the differences are more than just meets the eye - I forgot to mention the mahogany tone block, body chambering... in the end they sound really different

  • looks like when you put the switch on "series" you get a natural crunch sound

  • I got mine last week. Its one of the best guitars I have ever played !!

  • Yea i noticed that ,,,about his reviews but i would like i if he would bash an awful

instrument and if the guitar was really really bad Paul would dump it in the chipper shredder.. Now that would be good idea and would give the crappy companies

a better incentive build better products

  • its perfect guitar.

  • One question. Nickel Frets or Steel? And, ok maybe another, what amp are you using because every video you make sounds EVH'y.

  • all guitars sound quite the same, reaally too expensive

    the music man

  • why do they have to review this guitar if they will not give us one!! darn!!!

  • Excellent guitar.

  • Guitar World demo guitars are so drowned in compressors that you can't tell between guitars!! They all sound quite the same...

  • Whoa, this guitar just sings out on those high notes. No wonder John Petrucci uses Music Man

  • @Shawskee does it ever. Try playing John Petrucci's signature model, that guitar, even to this date, is one of the smoothest and best sounding guitars i've ever played

  • I just got this guitar and it is amazing

  • Great Looking guitar !

  • from 1:29 - 1:45 the camera zooms to the body when he mentions the neck, and when he mentions the bolt-on design it is zoomed to the headstock...

  • Nice demo, man!

I hadn't heard of these guitars 'til I saw a less expensive model at Guitar Center.

Thought I'd find some more info here.

    Thanks!

  • just а great sound. In series sounds like P90s

  • Really love these guitars !

  • its not that affordable but incredible

  • Great sound, but too much settings.

  • ooOOoo...hello gorgeous

  • Clean: Parallel.

    Med: Series.

    High: Series.

A great guitar...how much do these babies retail for? A guy can dream...

  • @seekah1

I think over 1000 or 2000 cant remember

  • Just got mine last week, and I love it! Great tone options all around. I still love my Les Paul, but I'm having a shitload of fun with this piece!

  • they should of made a way cooler looking body, like les paul, or ESP horizon style

  • Wow... that was some great playing and what an awesome review. Thanks Paul!

  • it's ugly

  • this guy is a ridiculously good guitar player omg!

  • Is it just me or is this guy only capable of good reviews.

  • I know what you're saying. He never says any of the cons of the guitars.

  • @R2319 LOL, yeah, pretty much. He rarely points out any drwabacks/shortcomings

  • @R2319 Hey, whatever sells the product.

  • @R2319 hey hes gotta sell right? lol if he made a bad review his managers gonna be like wtf u doin

  • @R2319 They aren't really "reviewing" products like a movie reviewer does. There are a million guitars out there, not 8 movies. They pick some products to highlight by the advertisers who pay them well and give glowing reviews, so they keep their ad space.

  • @R2319 he boviously can play, he has a hard time playing chords his fingers are all crooked up

  • awesome guitar... but to complicated for me, way too many knobs and switches

  • I really like the Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Guitars over these having played both

  • there are 2 diffrent guitars that look exactly like the new EVH wolf gang

this music man one and this other gutiar same shape same wood type for neck similar headstock some ppl can't make new guitar models anymore

  • Music Man designed this FOR Eddie Van Halen way before EVH started manufacturing his own guitars under his own brand.

It's not a rip-off of the EVH Wolf Gang. This was made more than 20 years before the original Wolf Gang was released, under the supervision and according to Eddie Van Halen's specs with Fender and Ernie Ball Music Man.

The Wolf Gang is pretty much the same guitar, with EVH's name on it.

Do your research before claiming "some ppl can't make new guitar models anymore."

  • Since when does Eddie manufacture his own guitars under his own brand?

  • It's not his own brand; its kind of like Jordan with Nike, but here its EVH hith Fender guitars and amps

  • One thing I like about the Van Halen model made by Music Man/Peavey was the "Drop D" thing-a-ma-bobber that just by pulling it, lowered the low E string to D, without retuning.

  • Why don't they call this thing the Van Halen guitar since he played it in the 1990s?

  • Eddy played a similar, it was the same brand, however they were different guitars like the wood pickups bridge and the toggle switch. but still very similar guitars

  • cause Eddy used a Peavy instead of a music man

  • me likes this one

  • wow! thats alot of twang in parallel!

  • Sounds FEROCIOUS!

Hate the headstock though, looks like a child's toy

  • The guitar player in my band has a headstock like that. I didn't like it at first but there's something about the shape and the position of the machine heads that keep the guitar intune when the fretlock is off. Plus it fits perfectly in any case or stand!

  • ok please give this to me now! seriously i hope thats cool

  • 4:31 sounds like Airbourne

  • cool guitar, but 22 grands is too much for what i saw or heard

  • Yeh, if you can't get a good sound out of a 19.99$ guitar, you can't get any good sound out of any guitar, no matter how expensive it is. I've seen guys on wasted and weathered guitars playing in the gutter, but managed to move a considerate audience because of their perfected technique over the years. Don't cheat, don't bury a lack of skill in expensive stuff I'd say. But that's my opinion.

  • thats all well said but with heavy metal and stuff you wld want a different guitar to 1 thats would be used for country sure you dont need expensive guitars but you do need the right guitar thats right for you and that makes the sound you want to play.

  • Hmm. I'm going to have to look this one up - if it plays well, I would sell my Gibson Les Paul for one.

  • love music man!

they always make awesome but expensive guitars.

  • @walcalr01 Ya but good guitars tend to be somewhat costly.

  • i want this guitar!!!!

  • I played one last week, absolutely fantastic.

  • I don't think they'd thank you for 'churning out'.Lol

  • I hate his style of playing

  • @lordofwar528

    And what style is that?

Pretty strong emotion to have over a gear demo.

  • beautiful guitar

  • His digital modelling sounds are fucking annoying. They cover up the guitars real tone and make every guitar sound the same.

  • @suihkubad

Is that what he's using? I think they have an in-house Marshall for their demos.

  • At least it sounds like that. Maybe they have a line 6 floor pod or something with that marshall. Or they have 10000 rack effects. Anyway theres just too much stuff covering the original tone for a gear demo.

  • WOW!!! THAT GUITAR IS AMAAAAZING!! =D Haha!!

  • If Petrucci supports likes your guitars, then your pretty good.

  • whats the name of this gutiarist? its a god!

  • paul riario

  • this is definitely the BOMB! XD

  • It just insanely awesome.

  • I think my next guitar will probably be a musicman..

  • loads of killer tone in one guitar awesome bit of kit

  • @j0hn318

    And we should care why???

  • Musicman is awesome indeed.
