And their health care is one of the most expensive in the world since you must pay everything to the state plus offer "volunteer" forced labor and live in poverty. I visit Cuba every year, I love the country but most of all I love the people. I really believe that if Embargo will be lifted and US Businesses will flood Cuba, this will destroy Cuba, Cuba will become another Mexico, product of USA, up to their ears in crime, murder, drugs etc. On one hand I wnt to see Cubans have more opportunities in life, but accepting help from USA will be like making a deal with a Devil. It's true. America and Europe would just exploit Cuba and it resources just like every other Caribbean country. True cuba is not like us and some would say behind. but at least they are self sufficient and developing on their own and not indebted to us or anyone else.
Yes the human issue is just that and issue one that is used to sway perception. It could al be true but look at the US today. They monitor our conversations. Citizen are jailed for being "suspect " terrorist. We are controlled too

Cuba is in debt with every single country they have traded with, since the '60s(including Rusia), except the US. Why? Well americans don't 100% agree with US policy. The american people have not directly elected our president since the electoral college. I just beleive countries have the right to develope on their own even if their choices are wrong or different. Whites just ain't happy with that. Hey my friend. for tou to know, for your information, in Cuba they also monitor your phone conversations or even your email, and citizens get int jail for being suspect of the simple fact that they are thinking a different way than the president does. And Cuba its not supported by itself as you think, most of the Cuban economy its supported for the oil from Venezuela, and the money Miami poeple send to their families in Cuba.
