this is the only album i took with me when i left Iran to go England. i used to love to listen to this sond when i missed home, which was every day. that was 34 years ago and i still love this song.

@kkshab I lived in Iran for 11 months in 1975-76. When I left to return to the U.S., this was the only classical album I took with me as well. As you know, the other side of the record is a ghazal of Hafez: Ey Ke Dar Koshtan-e Maa Hich Modaaraa Nakoni." What incredibly wonderful music this is. And what a joy that Agha-ye Mehrdad has posted this video to YouTube. Kheyli mamnun!

beacuse the the original song is in Lori language (a persian dialect), the singer has some problems to pronounce some words and tons.the late Ali-reza Hossien-khani (Khoramabadi) was the first singer. after that Saghaii (an other Lori singer ) conducted it.

what are the lyrics about? the song have a gentle flow and a parfume of sadness like the memories of beautiful moments of childhood, i cannot help but think of my grandparents village, the smell of baked goods and running on the field.
