There is actually a DLDI-enabled version that doesn't freeze when reading the save file like this one does, but I don't think I ever demo'd it. Sound is a bit better I believe, but it can't write to save files, only read them.
Of course, the GBA version of Goomba Color works very well if you have a slot-2 device to work with.
Yea Goomba does need sum work, the sounds are glitchy but the screen looks fine, Lameboy worked for me awesomely so far^^

The GBA version of Goomba Color is comparable to Lameboy, though the DS version I demoed here does need some work.

You'll need a homebrew device in order to run any homebrew files on the DS. Goomba Color DS and Lameboy are free.
