Willie Nile will be playing for me in my venue in Ruislip, NW London on 4th November 2011. He is quite frankly one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet, and spent one hour after his last gig with me signing things and talking to fans. Aside from that his songs are just fantastic. Him with a band or him with just a guitar, Willie is, as it says below, king.

i heard this song the summer after the bombings, while i was still in high school, and even though i've never heard it anywhere but youtube since i keep coming back to it. this, in my humble opinion, is one of the most powerful, amazing songs written in the last 30 years.

Did I hear this was inspired by the cells ringing in pockets of victims of Spain subway bombing as the bodies lay on the street? Or did I just connect these two in my own mind?
