the music is an instrumental version of an aria from Gounod´s opera "Romeo et Juliette". Juliette´s aria to be more exact.

don´t worry,this is a very difficult coreography.Ot´s a pitty that Alberto Mendez is almost retired from coreography.He had excellent ideas for modern ballet and some of his works deserve to be danced in other companies.

these are two of the latest best cuban dancers. the boy is almost a genius winning prizes since he was a kid, but too much pressure on him got him serious injuries on his knees, he can still dance like that but gets painful and cannot do it everyday like before... but yes, they are marvelous, i could see their perfomances just 100 m far from them
