(which basically makes italy and germany our allies) we could help retaliate quickly if an enemy attacks, this also helps our military to get to warzones more quickly. Now with japan, they don't really have a military anymore, so us (being the overly-nice country we are) chose to set up military bases there to basically protect them.

This car is very impressive, in performance and price. This car is comparable to a Camaro and Challenger, because all three are NA and are around the same price. This engine has a lot less torque than a Camaro or Challenger, but makes up for it with its considerably less weight. Has anyone found vids comparing the three?
@warrenzonator Well okay then, just look at some seperate tests, you'll see that the chally (though a great car) cannot really be compared to a boss performance-wise, but that's just my conclusion.
@warrenzonator Actually I'm not sure where you're getting your figures but the Boss 5.0 is MORE POWERFUL than both the Chally or the Camaro. For the record, the standard Mustang GT rips both of those cars (aside from the special editions) and this one would twist them into bits. 444 horsepower and 380lb ft of torque.
@lmorrow4 a camaro ss has 420 ft-lbs of torque/426 hp, and a challenger has 470 ft-lbs/470 hp. I don't know where you DIDN'T get your figures from, but i got them from a Ford competative comparison chart.
Aside from that, I would drive a Camaro or a Challenger to work any day over a Boss302, because they are much more driveable, a lot more comfortable, while this car is a true race car. That why I'd like to see a video comparing the 3, to show the high and lows of each car...

BTW, there is no way other than an SRT 8 that the standard RT nas that kind of hp, you went right for the top of the heap so to be fair, the GT500 being the top of the heap from Ford now sports 650hp. Never in any comparison has the Mustang lost for overall drivability and overall daily usability. Thats nice that you like the piggies, they need love too.

sincerelly, in my personal opinion the ford mustang and shelby models are the best and numbers one in the pony car list, but the challenger has a very coolers and agressive lines than these ones, The camaro is a good oponent, nice lines and also agressive, if i had to choose, i´d take the mustang in first instance, the challenger in second and the camaro, in that order.

I love just about everything about the Boss 302 Laguna Seca - but I’m not such a fan of the color combinations offered. Example: I like Red C-Stripes on the specimen in the video above, but think the RED Wheels & Grill work look kind of cheesy to me and the RED roof is just plain dumb.....

It ain't called "Boss" for nothin, kids. It beats the original 2011 Ford Mustang GT 500, BMW M3, AND the Audi R8. This thing is a beast, and best of all....assembled where it belongs, right here in the U.S.A.

Every mustang video I see has Mopar guys in it. Im glad that Mopar is back in the muscle game and honestly I love the look and sound of the Challenger, but it in no way compares to a new Boss 302. The sheer weight of a new challenger eliminates it from any comparison. 1/4 mile times are irelevant, Ford set there eyes on beating the M3, well they figured out that was easy but there was no other competition for the Boss. Im happy you Mopar guys are back and no need to prove yourselves.
I wish they had more variants of those wheels. I'd buy a Kona Blue Boss 302 w/ Recaro seats, decklid spoiler, and a white version of those red wheels. They would look pretty good. Or just a Blue Laguna Seca without red
It's so freaking ugly though, wow! That thing wouldn't leave the garage until the roof, side mirrors, grille trim and spoiler where painted. Also the front grille would have to be replaced asap. How nasty having a grille with fog light holes but no fog lights and a huge logo in the middle. It looks like what 16 year old ricers do when they just paint random parts of their cars because it "looks fast".

Also, you may think ford vehicles are "unreliable", and "unsafe" but since my family started bying fords (over chryslers) we've had no problems with them, and we put them through a lot too. Now, on the matter of safety, yes the heavier car is safer (as statistics show) but both the dodge and the stang, are considered safe cars, since they both have four or five star safety ratings

As for the old 302, not 5.0, the difference being one is a roller cam (5.0) and the other is a flat tappet (302), they were still faster than the Dodges' of their day. This car is very impressive, in performance and price. This car is comparable to a Camaro and Challenger, because all three are NA and are around the same price. This engine has a lot less torque than a Camaro or Challenger, but makes up for it with its considerably less weight. Has anyone found vids comparing the three?

@warrenzonator Actually I'm not sure where you're getting your figures but the Boss 5.0 is MORE POWERFUL than both the Chally or the Camaro. For the record, the standard Mustang GT rips both of those cars (aside from the special editions) and this one would twist them into bits. 444 horsepower and 380lb ft of torque.

@lmorrow4 a camaro ss has 420 ft-lbs of torque/426 hp, and a challenger has 470 ft-lbs/470 hp. I don't know where you DIDN'T get your figures from, but i got them from a Ford competative comparison chart.
Aside from that, I would drive a Camaro or a Challenger to work any day over a Boss302, because they are much more driveable, a lot more comfortable, while this car is a true race car. That why I'd like to see a video comparing the 3, to show the high and lows of each car...

BTW, there is no way other than an SRT 8 that the standard RT nas that kind of hp, you went right for the top of the heap so to be fair, the GT500 being the top of the heap from Ford now sports 650hp. Never in any comparison has the Mustang lost for overall drivability and overall daily usability. Thats nice that you like the piggies, they need love too.

@Kgossage777 It's a good thing you like the boss, cause it beat an audi r8 around laguna seca, that should paint a pretty good picture on why certain euro cars are faster (like ferrari and lamborghini) and that american cars are definatly beginning to outclass them performance-wise, even while costing much less. Euro cars are cool, no doubt, but most of us would end up with an american car, for obvious reasons.

The mustang can be rightfully compared to an audi, because the audi was built to be a sports car (it's faster than the boss at the 1/4 mile, just not the track) American engineering is just proving to be better than european engineering, it explains a lot.

sincerelly, in my personal opinion the ford mustang and shelby models are the best and numbers one in the pony car list, but the challenger has a very coolers and agressive lines than these ones, The camaro is a good oponent, nice lines and also agressive, if i had to choose, i´d take the mustang in first instance, the challenger in second and the camaro, in that order.

I love just about everything about the Boss 302 Laguna Seca - but I’m not such a fan of the color combinations offered. Example: I like Red C-Stripes on the specimen in the video above, but think the RED Wheels & Grill work look kind of cheesy to me and the RED roof is just plain dumb.....
Otherwise it's brilliant!

Every mustang video I see has Mopar guys in it. Im glad that Mopar is back in the muscle game and honestly I love the look and sound of the Challenger, but it in no way compares to a new Boss 302. The sheer weight of a new challenger eliminates it from any comparison. 1/4 mile times are irelevant, Ford set there eyes on beating the M3, well they figured out that was easy but there was no other competition for the Boss. Im happy you Mopar guys are back and no need to prove yourselves.

It's so freaking ugly though, wow! That thing wouldn't leave the garage until the roof, side mirrors, grille trim and spoiler where painted. Also the front grille would have to be replaced asap. How nasty having a grille with fog light holes but no fog lights and a huge logo in the middle. It looks like what 16 year old ricers do when they just paint random parts of their cars because it "looks fast".

The mustang has pulled a G in some tests and .99 in most. I've not seen a single .98g for the challenger, that's hilarious. Even the SRT8 barely does .93 and motortrend's average for the regular challenger hemi was .89 LOL. Far cry from .98, I'm not sure where you pulled that number from.

Also, you may think ford vehicles are "unreliable", and "unsafe" but since my family started bying fords (over chryslers) we've had no problems with them, and we put them through a lot too. Now, on the matter of safety, yes the heavier car is safer (as statistics show) but both the dodge and the stang, are considered safe cars, since they both have four or five star safety ratings

The Ford 5.0 is a hemi. It uses hemispherical combution. They cannot call it a hemi because dodge owns the rights to the word. Even Dodge's crown jewel, the Cummins diesel engine, is in fact owned by Ford. Ford has a majority share of Cummins dieslel.

As for the old 302, not 5.0, the difference being one is a roller cam (5.0) and the other is a flat tappet (302), they were still faster than the Dodges' of their day. So I do not care what you think or remember, but i do not like posers. Ford is still king, deal with it. As for reliability, Ford has been #2 under Toyota for years now. Don't be mad, by American and be proud of them all.

Dodge is 10 to 20 years behind Ford. The 90's Dodge looks like the 70's Ford. I will always be a fan of mopar along with Muscle, but when I think of mopar, I think of Plymouth.
