This is what it's all about, the real stuff, Master's like Seiyu Oyata use. This is the most impressive art I've ever seen. Soon as I can I will order some dvd's from Master Kline, Thanks for the demo :)
When practiced as above, you get concrete knockouts, without the flow of combat. And they appear unrealistic.
And you are right.
But practicing them in this manner hardwires their location in to the brain. And when combined with your general striking art as well as with your knowledge of anatomy and vital points, you can affect a knockout quicker and easier.
This isnt magic.
For every pressure point there is a MAJOR piece of anatomy behind it.
Pressure Point fighting is used constantly within MMA without realizing it. As mentioned above, most knockouts occur from contact with various nerves in the face.
when the proverbial "button" is hit, the jaw slides back into the Vagus Nerve in the hollow behind the ear, while simultaneously stricking the mandibular foramen on the jaw shocking the facial nerves. This overloads the brain, causing knockout.
Nowhere on here does it even mention the UFC. And not all techniques in the UFC work or no one would win.
UFC is combat sport. In a real situation, one or more of the friends or bystanders would jump in and start kicking them when they are down. So while there is a reality element to the UFC...remember...it is set up as a sport.
Why isn't this viral?

Ah. I did not see that.
Most of the KO's that occur in the UFC, occur on the facial nerve and mental nerve.

Imagine this in the UFC!!

This wouldn't work in the UFC. Because the UFC actually involves techniques that work.

I understand that the UFC is a sport. I referenced the UFC because the above commentator did.
