@corey84douglass From my understanding, Kenny Greene from Intro originally offered this song to Anita Baker for her "Rhythm Of Love" album that she was recording, but she turned it down. So rather than let the song sit around, he gave it to Mary. That explains why her voice sounds a little different on this song.
