Not saying it's real or not but he probably was shocked when it was coming down so he didn't speak and he sounded monotone because all the screaming and freaking out was edited out along with the full explosion probably to help be dignified in this video and was just in shock at the end with the "I can't believe it" and so forth with the realization of what happened. It's not as far fetched as some might believe so do what I do people and have an open mind both ways.
This is a real video, it was taken close to Gimli, Manitoba, Canada. The aircraft is a DHC-4 Caribou, with a retrofit. It was a prototype for a Pratt&Whittney PW-120 engine conversion. This happened to be the last proving flight before this mod was certified. the reason that the aircraft took off so fast is because its built as a STOL (short takeoff and landing) And I would imagine that it was a few moments before the airplane burst into flames. Unfortunatly none of the crew survived.
IF you looked carefully.......you would CLEARLY SEE... the pilots fighting to take off the gust locks....... I saw the full version of the origonal video, its NOT remote control...or a DRONE
Actually it is real. Its a turbine conversion of the DHC Caribou. It actually crashed because the pilot left the control lock in before his take off roll. Always important to do a final "full and free movement "control check before take off!!!
Of course its fake. The camera man knew obviously knew the plane was coming down cuz he kept the bottom part half of the frame open instead of centering on the plane as if fell.He didnt react at all when the plane started to fall and finally if there is any doubt you can tell the footage of the fire and when the plane actually crashes are from 2 different times. You can hear the sound blip for a second. The fire is edited into it.
The sound 'blipping' for a second and the fire is suddenly there because they just edited out the waiting. so they could show you the fire.
Apparently, before take-off, the rudder and aileron lock was not deactivated. this caused the plane to pitch up and turn without it's ailerons or rudder moving. you can even see it in the video. no visible rudder/aileron movement at all.
Ok thats possible. But what about his lack of vocal reaction when the place starts to tip? And his steady hand filming and keep the plane at the top of the frame to show its fall?? Seems like he knew exactly what was going to happen. The ailerons may very well have been locked, but i think it was done intentional for the filming.
That is obviously a remote control plane, & the vid has been edited to cut to when teh fuel has spilled out & caught fire. I bet that commentator wasn't happy with his fag son who crashed his plane. :)
Yeah it's obviously a remote controlled plane! One so big that it takes up the same amount of runway as a real Caribou. I've logged hours in this plane before, trust me that's no fake.
yeah....a COMMANDER, I am an AME and I work ona commander...that is a Carubou converted with PW-120 engines....and if you KNEW ANY of your airplanes, you would know that the commander's tail DOES not slope up, you want proof, i'll take pictures at work for you.....
Ever watched a plane full of your friends crash? I'm not entirley sure what I would do/say if I was watching it without any idea what was about to happen.
the camera was oviously stopped dude, jetfuel is like diesel, it takes a bit of time to light up after it spills. the camera was stopped. and...not all airplanes smoke when they crash, think about gliders, or what if the pilot dumps the fuel? The gimli glider skid on its nose, at the same airport and there was no flames, just a smalll electrical fire...

Apparently the rudder and aileron locks was not deactivated before take-off. The pilot realized his mistake but it was to late.

this is fake, when the plane crashes there is hardly any smoke, the camera dips, then when it is raised the sky is full of black smoke.
MrLing3 5 years ago
That's because they've cut out a part where the guy left the camera pointed at the ground
rifleman07 4 years ago
But no reaction as it fell. Only a line that sounded like he read it from a book after the edit?
