  • I remember being in that storm!..

  • @mitchWhiteLIRC Part of a historic outbreak of tornadoes dubbed The Super Tuesday Outbreak.

  • does horizontal rain means a tornado is close by?

  • Not always. It just means that you have a fairly intense downburst that is blowing the rain so hard that it takes on that near horizontal look to it

  • I am glad horizontal rain is not always a sign of a tornado close by. early this year a strong storm with similar winds you had disclosed in the video happened in Santa Maria, where I live, that came from the storm and there was horizontal rain. thanks.

  • Yeah but bottom line when you have horizontal rain is that the winds are quite strong and the quick rainfall rates can cause quick flash flooding which is the #1 killer in severe weather.

  • wow, I thought very strong winds are the most killer of a severe storm until now. now I know flooding claims the most lives than wind in a severe storm. thanks.

  • Yeah it's a common misconception: "Well I've been down this road a million times, shoot I even have an SUV, we will be fine" Then minutes later, in only 2 feet of water, they are downstream, dead

  • thanks for sharing to me everything I need to know about horizontal rain and flooding being deadly from a severe storm as well as the common misconception when it comes to severe storms.

  • Not a problem. Always here to help

  • Look man, you do realize, the more you speak, the more of a stupid hick you reveal yourself to be right?

I mean really dude, learn to simply shut the fuck up.

  • And just let you talk right ;)?

  • No, let us hear the storm itself. Just a thought. If you were not such a stupid redneck it would all be clear to you.

  • I have an idea, how bout you learn a lil bit of fuckin kindness you rude mother fucker. Damn, why does everyone gotta be such dumb FUCKS, and one-up everyone. Shit, move on asshole.

  • lol :) Thanks buddy :)

  • I needed to be said. If you don't like it, maybe you should just stop reading all together. It is probably at the limits of your intelligence anyway.
