I am glad horizontal rain is not always a sign of a tornado close by. early this year a strong storm with similar winds you had disclosed in the video happened in Santa Maria, where I live, that came from the storm and there was horizontal rain. thanks.
Yeah but bottom line when you have horizontal rain is that the winds are quite strong and the quick rainfall rates can cause quick flash flooding which is the #1 killer in severe weather.
wow, I thought very strong winds are the most killer of a severe storm until now. now I know flooding claims the most lives than wind in a severe storm. thanks.
Yeah it's a common misconception: "Well I've been down this road a million times, shoot I even have an SUV, we will be fine" Then minutes later, in only 2 feet of water, they are downstream, dead
thanks for sharing to me everything I need to know about horizontal rain and flooding being deadly from a severe storm as well as the common misconception when it comes to severe storms.
I have an idea, how bout you learn a lil bit of fuckin kindness you rude mother fucker. Damn, why does everyone gotta be such dumb FUCKS, and one-up everyone. Shit, move on asshole.
i live in seymour idk when it was a couple summers ago maybe but like 1 tornado was like right outside of my neighborhood on 31 and they other one was goin through my hood knocking down trees my old house in the same neighborhood all the trees were like destroyed and toppled
lol..too funny. Was this the one this year? And did you just decide to drive through Seymour? Or were you caught out in it? Where were ya at anyways? I saw some school signs..hopefully not by Cortland, lord knows one drop of rain and the whole town of Cortland goes under water lol
I remember being in that storm!..

does horizontal rain means a tornado is close by?
aurora990 2 years ago
Not always. It just means that you have a fairly intense downburst that is blowing the rain so hard that it takes on that near horizontal look to it

No, let us hear the storm itself. Just a thought. If you were not such a stupid redneck it would all be clear to you.

I needed to be said. If you don't like it, maybe you should just stop reading all together. It is probably at the limits of your intelligence anyway.
